I recall Irma (I think) where they advised people on the Gulf to evacuate to Orlando, and everyone went in that direction only for that storm to follow them there. 
I'm out beyond Zone E here and 60 feet above sea level, so I'm where they evacuate Zones A-E into. I've told others that my place is somewhat like a bunker in that it primarily faces into its own courtyard versus being exposed on four sides by windows to winds. It's held its own through a Cat 4 hit, not sure I want to see a Cat-5 as anything other than a network cable.
