I recently had a round of non-specific prostatitis - ran a panel, no STIs.  My doctor assured me that bottoming does not injure the prostate in any way, but I do seem to experience some difficulties peeing after bottoming. Anyone else experience this? Is my doctor mistaken?  This particular round took a couple of weeks of meloxicam and tamulosin to get me back to “normal” (man, aging sucks!)

There is some evidence (scant, but some) that regular prostate massage actually helps with things like benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH). Your doctor is correct that generally speaking bottoming doesn't injure the prostate. That said, in cases of acute prostatitis, being fucked can spread the infection.

My gay Dr. believes that prostate health begins with message. He said in all of his years he has never found a bottom that has had prostate cancer.  He started to check mine years ago. Long before it was needed. lol. He said mine is great and keep doing what I’m doing. He knows I’m a total slut so that was also a joke.

I've always heard bottoming is good for it 🤷‍♂️

Immediately after a heavy fuck session, either multiple tops, one top who can go for multiple rounds, or rough / rage fucking, my prostate is definitely tender and it can be hard to take a leak until things "calm down" in there. But after a run of the mill butt fucking with just one casual bud,  never had a problem.

My doctor knows I'm gay and a bottom, and as I've reached middle age has had the prostate health talk with me. Mainly just recommending I shoot at least four or five loads a week, more is better. I am curious what he says about bottoming and prostate health, I may ask next checkup.

After getting fucked, i have problems peeing. It's difficult to get started, slower stream, and a little painful.

My doctor indicated it could be BPH and let me try a daily low dose cialis which helps reduce prostate swelling slightly. It helped a little. But i still have issues with prostate swelling after intense fucking.

It's not a major issue yet. BTW, I'm almost 60 years old.
