The biggest wealth transfer and destruction of economic well-being was the COVID lockdowns, which threw a lot of people out of work, wrecked a lot of small businesses and made the billionaires a lot of money.Β

And what followed, looked like a good economy on paper but had actually left a huge swath of society disaffected. Or at least feeling so (or convinced to feel so).Β

If the economy is so bad, why are the airlines flying more passengers than ever? Β Why are hotel occupancy rates higher than ever? Β Why are hotel rates higher than ever?

Β

Who did all of these vacationers vote for? Β Obviously, they didn’t vote for Trump because of a bad economy.

Β

It has been said many times that, β€œwe are better than this,” referring to having Trump as president the first time.

Β

Apparently, we aren’t.

So, so, sad and scary.

Preface: I firmly believe that in addition to being a rapist, a misogynist, and just overall a disgusting excuse for a human being, Trump's rhetoric and his focus on grievances and his strong man attitude towards ruling rather than governing puts him squarely in the category of fascist. I'm also well aware that he's going into his second presidency immensely better prepared than he was for the first, after years of being groomed for this by a cabal of conservative interests with their own agenda.Β

That being said, I feel like there's a little bit of catastrophizing on the left in light of the news. I think in the short term his economic policy is going to be a cheap sugar rush for the economy which is definitely going to have long-term knock-on effects. With a power shift in the Senate, any nomination he wants to make will get pushed through. Yes, it's bad. But until he starts to make good on these threats I'm stopping short of calling this an existential threat to democracy.

He not only won, it looks like he actually crushed the popular vote unlike the last time he managed to game the electoral college. I still think we have enough rational, sane people in this country to hopefully keep the worst of the damage in check over the next four years.Β

I have to believe that at this point.

The main reason the Democrat vote spiraled (apart from only 3% of those aged 18-25 voting because of Biden's OVERT support of the annihilation of Palestine)?Β [think before following links] https://truthout.org/articles/10-states-purged-over-19-million-voters-between-2020-and-2022-electoral-cycles/

Simple question, not being apart of America, respecting that the People decided … Β and not taking sides. Do you think that you all won’t have your meds discontinued? Be it PrEP, HIV meds, if JFK, Β is Β to becomes your health minister, he has great plans etc. I only ask as some that are looking to convert, come of Prep/meds … do you really think it would be a good time? Now drop the heroic BS! Easy to say yes, in truth, you would be the only one to suffer.

NOT a very valuable comment yo make 😒😒. People are not stupid but, they are : 1) often poorly educated, certainly down-trodden & usually desparate. This MOST CERTAINLY allows "snake charmers" (Trump, Vance) to take advantage of their economic & social difficulties. This type of person is not simply white Caucasian men but, blacks, Latinos, Asians (their voting mistake has yet to surface), homeless (Vets - we have already seen Trumps attitude towards these PROUD & LOYAL service people), single mothers (thousands of unwanted babies over the next 2-4yrs), farmers & factory / mine workers. His TOTAL disbelief & disregard for climate change will witness the exponential rise in hurricanes, floods, droughts, fires & finally these people will be required to decide how they want their futures. For survival, both parties need to LISTEN to their electorate & take actions. Republicans need to return to grassroots & Democrats need to pull back from this ultimately destructive "WOKEISM", that is having a big impact on the rise of nationalism (Trump, Putin, Oban etc) throughout the world. Australia πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί is already beginning to feel the backlash of Trumps victory, with a significant rise in rhetoric from our Liberal/National coalition (equivalent to US Republicans & UK Conservatives). Immigration being of primary attention. Like the US this is a national problem & it needs to be dealt with, by governments & not via the Court systems - BLEEDING HEARTS, in a manner that gives national citizens their full entitlements of said, citizenship.Β

IF someone says something often enough, it is inevitable that those, even ones not millionaires but financially stable ignore their expensive holidays, & are hoodwinked into "believing" something entirely different to FACT, their actual economic status.Β

That is much more a woke leftist thing to do, but agreed I will not be happy if Trump does not follow through on his promise to ban censorship and government β€œmisinformation” manipulation. This mostly happens to people on the right, but it’s also bad when it happens to people on the left.Β

... the WORKING PERSON, WILL NEVER become a millionaire.Β

I'm not so sure of that. Inflation has been known to work wonders. Somewhere I have a Zimbabwean banknote from about 12 or 15 years ago. I think it is for 100 billion Zim dollars. I also have a picture of a public toilette in Zimbabwe from the same time period. It has a sign on the door of a stall that reads "Toilette Paper Only. No Zim Dollars." I also have one from the post WW1 period in Germany when they experienced run away inflation. It is for 50 thousand Marks. It is only printed on one side. It wasn't worth the ink to print it on both sides.

Hopefully we get our inflation under control. Dismissing financially stressed manual laborers as ignorant uneducated louts who should have gotten an education so they could get better paying jobs is unfair. Back in the '60s, '70s, or '80s people raised families, bought groceries, paid rent, and even took vacations working those same jobs. I myself only have a high school education (on paper anyway) and did manual labor jobs my entire life, a lot of it self employed on a contract basis and always did rather well.

My dad wanted to send me through law school when I got out of high school, he had his own business and had done well so could have easily afforded it, I had the SAT scores to support it, but I didn't really want it. I was happy with a chainsaw in my hands working in the woods, or setting on a horse chasing after a bunch of cattle on some ranch. I told my Dad I wanted a year off from school after I graduated from HS to think about it. Uncle Sam sent me a real friendly letter at the end of that year inviting me to report to an induction center and after two years of that little adventure there was no way I was going to sit through any boring assed classes listening to some smarmy little pencil necked geek. I instead chose long hair, Harley Davidson motorsickles, redneck bars, honkey-tonk women, hot gay men, and hard and dangerous jobs. And had a hell of a lot of fun. An office job would have killed me a long time ago out of sheer boredom.

I have respect for working class people. I am one. They are not to blame for their current condition. A system that has devalued their worth to the point of poverty is to blame. Bringing in disadvantaged third world workers to replace them while subjecting them to the same conditions is not an answer. When the masses have nothing left to lose the Man on Horseback who promises them something better will have their ear, even if that demagogue is himself filthy rich. And this latest election went a long way toward proving that this current dissatisfaction crosses racial and ethnic boundaries, the average working class White has a hell of a lot more in common with working class Blacks and Hispanics than with the self appointed elites. I guarantee if it comes down to the nut-cutting Black, White, and Hispanic will be manning the barricades together. I hope it doesn't come to that. War is ugly.

Make sure to release all your righteous anger and frustration on a hot piece of ass that can take a solid pounding! I just tore up a new one for a bottom and made it frothy and dripping.Β

I did just that. I called up a fuck bud and he said he had hooked up with a real hot bottom and invited me over to play. Turned out the bottom had voted for Trump so we took turns fucking the racist, misogynistic, ignorant, xenophobic, homophobic, fascist little bitch's nazi ass. The bottom was of Hispanic descent BTW and had one of the sexiest little asses I've had the pleasure of sliding my tongue and cock into in a long time. I think I just might recover from the trauma of Trump's election after all.

What a great way to punish that bottom and find some temporary relief with your trauma. But I’m afraid there is no healing to this TDS, sir. You have to keep fucking many such bottoms every week to finish 4 years of Trump.. followed by 8 years of Vance, 8 years of Vivek, 8 years of Tulsi Gabbard ( our first female president) and 8 years of Candace Owens. So be ready for this trauma therapy for the next 36 years of hardcore topping and punishing these bottoms to let those frustrations out.Β

The statement you posted was said before he was elected President again. All he has talked about since being reelected Tuesday is that he wants to deport millions of illegal migrants. Not one word so far about pardons for the January 6th mob .Β
