WWYD: potential ex hookup working in hospital where I was a patient

So I am just home late yesterday afternoon from a stay in hospital. Not for anything serious, just stomach problems. I was there for 5/6 day all in all give or take. 

However this is where the story gets interesting. There was a nurse there who looked extremely familiar. Familiar because I remembered the face, the build, the smile was uncanny. He was the same daddy type age. I thought this was a guy i hooked up with when I was about 19/20 ish. I met him on grindr and had a few solo meets with him and a number of couple meets with him and his husband. We lost touch even though we don't even live that far away from each other. (i have not seen him on grindr in months though)

He told me and i know for a fact at least back then he was a photographer. He never told me about being a nurse, having a medical degree or even considering that line of work. Not that he has to of course i am just a whore online but it was super awkward considering he had done medical tests on me. He never brought it up but he spoke to me really informally and smiled constantly and i was like should I be the one to bring it up??.

There is every chance this is just a freaky coincidence and they look crazy similar but a daddy age guy with the same hair, same build, similar face and piercing smile is too much in my eyes to be a coincidence

So
What would you do 

Would you message him on grindr and ask if that was him 
or
Just drop it and avoid potentially looking like a creep
