It's time to move to Canada or the UK.  Both have 60% higher taxes but I won't have to listen to the Americans nonstop bitching and constantly at war with themselves.  Plus their stupid education systems have brainwashed everyone.  American education is one of the lowest on earth.  Start using brave.com for searching as Google and others block shit so Americans only see what those companies want them to see to keep their internal wars going that never stop.  Been seeing the new happiness, anger, and bitching.  I've served my country proudly.  We all got along.  But now, America has gotten too wobbly.  Everyone hates each other way too much.  They let themselves be gaslighted.  I no longer follow a side because they are all wackadoodles.   I wouldn't move to those countries.  I'm not that stupid.  I will find a nice tropical country that has low taxes and move there.  Warmer, kinder people.

Oh yes, I agree👍. For me, it has to be Thailand 🇹🇭 or next choice Malaysia 🇲🇾. I would of course have my main residence, in Sweden 🇸🇪 with family.

Affordable cost of living, affordable housing, health care & they actually DO LOOK AFTER their ELDERLY. None of which is available ANY MORE in Australia. No longer the lucky country except for the small percentage of the rich & mega rich 😱🤬

I may consider moving to Canada, I've never resided there, but have close to 10 years of work history there so I would have a network of friends and professional contacts.

My ancestors migrated to the US or American colonies between 180 and 400 years ago, from all over western Europe, so I don't really have clear roots anywhere except the US.

Back in the day here in the UK we were worried about ‘the brain drain’ of skilled people moving to the US for better prospects.  Now it looks like the flow will be in the other direction.  Talented free thinking people may well move on as they are driven out or feel they can no longer stay.  Very sad.

Less than 1% of our population. The largest proportion of them are also 2nd, 3rd & 4th "silver spoon" generations. They have not worked & earned it themselves, it has been handed too them.

Elaborate if you will please on how America's education system brainwashing everyone. Now I happen to agree wholeheartedly that America's education system, particularly in the public school sector, ESPECIALLY in the public school sector, is subpar at best. That being said, I'm not really clear on your claim of brainwashing. So again if you would elaborate more on this in more depth, details, examples, etc., I would be most grateful and I look forward to you your response. Thank you 🙂

Wok (adj.)

A state of awareness achieved only by people stupid enough to find injustice in everything  except their own actions.

Examples of "woke" in a sentence:

1. "Fuck woke!"

2. "Woke is bullshit"

(that second one ∆∆ has a ring of familiarity to it, not to mention *truth*)

and you found the need to answer a question that wasn’t directed towards you because?

The member I directed it towards hasn’t provided an answer because he knows he can’t provide an answer.

That "member" does not spend ALL of his time on this site. Contrary to any other belief I spend many hrs / week running around looking after my partner, of 43yrs, suffering from advanced Parkinsons. I could give a very short answer however, I have no desire to offend. I will answer the question BUT, it will be on my time.

As I use the word quite often, I can only assume a rather pointed personal "shot" at myself. I have no idea why it has become "ATTACK" me week (I refer to another comment aimed at myself).

I thought this was a site where we were able to agree / disagree without any targeted invective.

IF wrong, I apologise but, two targeted comments in 12hrs are unsettling.

Unless and until this 1% of the mega-rich learn to offer assistance, founded in genuine care for those who are in need of a helping hand, the corruption will only get worse, the rot festering even deeper, and the nation is already suffering from the strictures of the racism, this-ism, that-ism, on and on.

I see nothing but a very rocky road for at least the next 4 years, unless some "intervention" occurs.  Of note, the formerly Orangutang is no longer bathing in phony suntan concoctions, and letting his head of flowing white hair be displayed.  His pale, sallow complexion is showing without benefit of a blanket of orange.

What is this a harbinger of?

@hntnhole that role many times has been our religious institutions.  While differ they had common themes around how they guided their members towards a more successful moral compass.  We've chosen leaders who are taking us away from those who gave moral direction towards a winner/loser strategy.  With them winning and convincing us of how happy we are they are winning.  We root for the team over rooting for each other.

I don't think we need churches necessarily to guide us; but we have often done better as a society when our leaders sought to help us, their constituents, and not profit off of that.

Neither do I.

We're born with a sort of "moral compass" - we instinctively know right from wrong.  That knowledge can become diffused, shunted into the background by dependance on O.R., which institutions promulgate the notion that we - humanity - "needs" their intercessory prayers, incantations, magic-peddling, blah blah blah.

We need to think, ponder, observe for ourselves; not swallow centuries-old contrivances that are designed to sublimate the individual, in favor of the ruling few - the clergy.

As far as I'm concerned, Organized Religion has, through the centuries, made itself our enemy, not our friend, and certainly not our "salvation".  If the clergy were to peddle their bling and give the proceeds to the poor, it would be at least a step in the right direction.

However:  There is one area of human endeavor that has flourished under OR; that being the arts; choral music in particular.  Without the dough from the clergy, we'd have no Bach Cantatas, none of Mozart's ethereally-lovely works, and all the other old masters, satisfying OR's thirst for religious-themed music has benefitted humanity exponentially more than their greed-infused "message" ever could.   More, the work of the portrait artists would never have been contracted for.  The Old Masters of the art world worked for the clerics, and civilization has been the beneficiary of their work for centuries.

So what do we do?  We gratefully accept the good, toss some coins at OR, and ignore the garbage.

It's nice to see people in the community get what this anit trans shit is.right now I see lez gay  and b throwing us under the bus on social media like crazy thinking this doesn't effect them .trump has also put a backdoor travel ban on us via passport.
