Anyone who has engaged in chem, will be familiar with these feelings, and the two selves (one good, one bad) who sit on our shoulders, whispering their respective arguments to you, when you're faced with a choice of going on, or turning back.

Thankfully, my good self has always been strong enough to win sometimes, and is growing stronger these days.
