Relocation out of USA

Are there any other people looking to relocate out of the USA? If so, where and do you have any resources to share?

Im seriously looking to move to the UK in the next year. I can claim dual citizenship.

One of the problems of dual citizenship is Tax.  As I understand it from friends in this situation, if you come to the UK and get dual citizenship you'd be liable to pay *both*  the IRS and HMRC tax on your income unless you relinquish US citizenship.  Take advice from a professional before making a decision. 

The other phrase that comes to mind is 'out of the frying pan and into the fire'.  Speaking as a brit, things aren't great here either. The only thing keeping me here is looking after an elderly parent.  My plan for the future isn't to stay here - I'll move for sure.

I can only echo this. I was in New York last week and, honestly, if I didn’t also have responsibilities and could afford to do so, I’d quit the UK and move there in a heartbeat.

The Australian Government will also not permit anyone with HIV to relocate to Australia.

Do they require medical documentation when reviewing an individual's application for citizenship?  What about the ability to support yourself financially?

I know that I had to pay for a specific health test that included x-rays, a blood test and check up when I was applying for permanent residency here. But if one is applying for it from overseas, I am sure there are clinics approved by Canadian Immigration that perform the tests.

I looked at moving a bit. It can be tricky if you're HIV positive. Believe it or not, Canada does not want HIV+ immigrating there. I believe that if one wants to, tests are required.

From what I recall, the EU has no regulations on HIV status; I can't remember about the UK. The Mideast is not hospitable, generally speaking, to people with HIV.

Sorry I can't be more definite, I was unable to find the Website that had specific information.

If I had the option, I think I would relocate to Germany, but sadly following the shambles that is brexit, I guess I am destined to stay in the UK
