  1. Yes, Jarod is poz. Not sure about the other stuff you ask.
  2. Let's say you're on a tube site (other than Raunchy Fuckers) and you see a video. It has some watermarked URLs on it. If you want to see more videos like that. Which URL would you type in to see more? Assume you've never heard of Raunchy Fuckers. Use these pics as examples of what you might be looking at (click to see larger versions of the pics)… I ask because the producer for Black Breeders was upset that I was watermarking the videos. But they're watermarked because people hotlink/steal the videos so they play on other sites while I have to pay for the bandwidth. So I'm just curious which watermark you think is most "authoritative" / the one that's most likely to get type-in visitors.
  3. The key is for doctors to tell guys on PrEP to come in quickly when they have possible seroconversion symtoms. If they go off Truvada quickly there won't be resistance.
  4. Some of us are in cities where the bathhouses suck thanks to our local Department of Health. When you take bathhouses out of the equation online sites become more important and you get more serious guys on them. Bottom line I think hookup sites (and smartphone apps) work best in dense urban areas.
  5. MascMountainMan - I generally agree with what you just said except in one respect… That's what I used to think, but it's not true. Because it's the HIV in your body that becomes resistant, neg guys can't become resistant to ARVs. Hence PrEP is unlikely to result in "widespread drug resistant HIV". Except in one respect - a some but not all of guys on PrEP who convert do become resistant, but that happens after they become poz, not before. So it will happen, but it won't be widespread.
  6. I can't organize anything for you, but would love to breed you sometime. Keep us up-to-date if you get a gangbang organized - I'll attend if I can make it.
  7. I don't think you can really do this type of analysis. The most recent data on per-incident risk is from before ARVs came out, and no one really knows how effective PrEP is. As they say "garbage in, garbage out".
  8. I had a chatroom, but it kept crashing. It's on my to-do list when I have some free time to dig into it.
  9. I read something recently that's there's a new rapid test that looks for antigens rather than antibodies so it can detect infection much more quickly. It's currently going through FDA approvals.
  10. Was the guy poz or neg?
  11. Agreed. There are 408 guys online in NY right now - at 8:30 in the morning!
  12. There is one bareback hookup site IMHO - BBRT. I think they'll be popular for some time to come - I'm not trying to knock them - just give barebackers another option. Bareback.com used to be a decent site. Then it changed and BBRT took over. I don't see it coming back. Who's behind Bareback Station? You need traffic to get a hookup site off the ground. There's only a few of us in the bareback community who have sufficient traffic. I could count the people/companies on one hand who could pull it off.
  13. What are some of the sites you think are really good, but under-marketed? The approach I'm planning on taking is to start with a straight-oriented dating software package and then modify it as needed so it suits what I need. I've found one that has most of what guys are looking for in a hookup site plus some stuff that isn't typically found on gay sites. That comes with full source code and is easily extensible - so it's a good starting place - much better than starting from scratch. BUT the more I think about things the more I want to focus on a mobile app. I'm convinced that's where the future is. Anyone know of a decent, gay iPhone that's whithered on the vine because of bad marketing? manranch.com has been registered since 2002 though it doesn't resolve when you try to pull it up.
  14. ranch.com, theranch.com, bbranch.com are all taken. I do have an idea that's semi-ranch related that's my favorite right now. It might let me do tongue-n-cheek and get past Apple's rules for apps. The really good domain names are taken, but not developed and the domain owners aren't responding to requests to sell. The OK, but not great domain name is available.
  15. Did you ever go? Can you describe it in detail for those of us who didn't go?
  16. It's costing me $225/month in copay. I'm not happy about the price - not at all.
  17. Back in the day I was too scared to go to Mount Morris Baths. One of those things I regret - I really should have been sluttier back then. I now live in Mount Morris Park. The bathhouse is long-closed, but up until about 6-9 months ago the sign was still there. I snapped a picture of it before they took it down and started renovations on the place... Back in the late '90s West Side Club was a lot of fun. How long ago was it that you went? I haven't heard many people talk about it lately. I thought it was pretty dead.
  18. My boyfriend has started talking about taking it. I'm not sure if I'd recommend it for someone like him or not. He doesn't like anonymous sex, doesn't have sex with that many different guys, he's a total top, and half the time he uses condoms (but doesn't like them). So he's having sex with just a few guys who he typically knows pretty well. They've talked about status. And he's topping. IMHO I'm not sure his risk level is high enough to warrant PrEP. HollywoodSlut - sounds like you're also pretty low-risk. How do you draw the line for when PrEP is warranted? I mean there's a real risk in just taking the meds - they're powerful and there can be side effects. Or do you just back off if there are side effects? But will the damage be done at that point?
  19. Well, assume the time machine that takes you back will bring you back to the present when you're done whoring around But yeah, antibiotics would be one requirement for me to go back and stay in a time period. I mean the STDs would be pretty awful without modern meds.
  20. You are now WiredMouse.
  21. All the name change requests since my last post have been done.
  22. If they start sucking you, just tell them "Thanks, but I'm just here to get fucked". Should do the trick. As far as jockstraps - there are many different cuts - find one that looks good on your body type. Some have straps that attach further back, so the straps are a bit more vertical. They may won't cut so much into the softness of your butt. Like this one… Buying a size bigger might help - but you don't want it so loose that it looks like a diaper either. I'd also suggest one that doesn't have one of those push-out pouches - you don't want to draw attention to your cock.
  23. If you could travel back in time on a sex vacation to the raunchiest place and time for gay sex in all history where/when would it be? Late 70s? NYC? San Francisco? Berlin? A particular bathhouse? Or would you go back to the time of the Greeks? Or maybe to some culture where master tradesmen regularly fucked their apprentices?
  24. Added those two to my instant queue. Thanks. I've watched that. Other than when the prison guards are fucking the inmates there's not much of what I'm talking about. All in all didn't like that nearly as well as Weeds. Weeds just had a sense of humor that is lacking in Orange. Not sure I'd recommend watching Orange.
  25. Just thought I'd start a thread with good gay erotica on Netflix. I've seen a few things on there that were pretty racy. Sebastiane - It's a gay "art film". All the dialog is in Latin so who knows what they're saying, but there's a fair amount of full-frontal nudity and TONS of near nudity (and rear nudity). If you're having a gay party and want something playing as a visual in the background it's a decent choice. Given that it's in Latin, it's not the sort of movie you sit down and watch end-to-end. It's available via streaming, not just DVD. Taxi Zum Klo - I LOVE this film. It's German about a Berlin school teacher who gets into some rather hardcore sex. It's available via streaming and DVD. I hear "Gay Sex In the '70s" is good. I've got it in my DVD queue. Unfortunately it's not available via streaming. So what films have you guys found on Netflix? When you list your films make sure you mention whether they're available via streaming or just DVD.
