I just checked Facebook to determine when I actually became positive and it was October of 2014 (i know the actual date it happened, but not who it was - story for another time). I went on a work trip about two weeks after the weekend it happened and had the fuck flu of all fuck flus in my hotel room. Anyway, to the questions; I don't regret it and at first, I don't think I was chasing but that evolved. When I started full time barebacking, there was no prep, and so a lot of guys would only reveal they were poz if asked and even then a lot of them would lie. These were also the days of Craigslist hookups and right at the start of BBRT - manhunt was much more prevalent so you still had to hunt for bb versus safe dudes a lot. I started barebacking around 2002 for the first time, then gave up condoms entirely in about 2008. I'd say I avoided guys I knew to be poz until about 2008. I think I started chasing after August 2008 when I remember (and still have the email...see pic) when I took my first poz load knowingly. I was drunk (must have been sunday funday), he was some hot motorcycle riding black dude. I remember being nervous but really excited and horny for his dick and load and I think the switch flipped after that night and I definitely pursued poz guys with more vigor and got turned on more knowing they were. It took six years of a ton of barebacking for me to poz, including party weekends and such where I'd really go out of control. Lots of fun times and hot moments so no, not looking back with regret. Life impact - now with prep, even when it comes to neg guys, it's far less of a concern it seems than it used to be and I feel like chasing is becoming slightly less underworld than it used to be. And if the neg guy is really that concerned and you're on meds, he's probably ill informed and going to be a boring fuck. lol In terms of the meds, I've had great insurance when on meds so that hasn't impacted me. Having to remember to take a pill every day around the same time with food is sometimes annoying but now there's even bi-monthly shots so it's becoming more of a thing that's just background in your life. In the broader world of straights and what not, there's still a lot of information and stigma about being HIV positive, so if you're open about it, you should be ready for that. I don't think becoming positive in and of itself is sexually liberating, though mentally I think it can be a blocker for people who might want to go to something like a sex party but won't because they are concerned about becoming positive. I know some poz guys who are more conservative than almost anyone. So if you're conservative and a sex party is scary, pozzing won't change that in and of itself. There are also still health matters to consider after you're poz (e.g. STIs), so if you have any holdbacks on feeling liberated, pozzing alone isn't gonna change that I don't think. P.S. I'm sure "Jason Borne" was not the guys real name (I think my display name was "BB Seattle" or something like that for Craigslist emalis), but I also don't think I ever asked.

I agree! I'm also fine with dirty chat 🙂 fantasy or whether it leads to something latter, it's still fine with me. It's somewhat necessary here since so many profiles don't even have locations.

Interesting conversation. I have to say that it's really hard to gauge right off the bat whether someone is direct and just wants to get things going, or if they want some back and forth first. Sometimes I've tried being super direct right off the bat and just say what I'm looking for - and some guys will respond favorably and others find it offputting (based on their responses). Sometimes I try to be a bit more casual and bump in to people that just reply with one word answers. Of course, I adapt once I have a sense of where it's going, but I don't have down to an exact science. Sniffies seems the most transactional, BBRT has become more and more sanitized over the years so is a mix of both... My preference is I could just say, "anon pump and dump bottom, come drop your load" and they'd ask for the address and then give me an ETA. I wish! I also travel a ton for work so I do hit up guys in other cities in the hopes that I have some contacts in other cities I can hook up with when I'm there and don't have to waste a fuck ton of time, since I'm pretty time contrained on work trips.

Other than being positive, I haven't had an STI for at least three maybe four years and honestly, I'm always a bit surprised because of the quantity of dick I'm getting in between appointments and also where I'm finding some of that dick ...if you know what I mean. Because I am positive I go to an infectious disease doctor as my primary care physician and she's super dialed in on things and we have very candid conversations about my "activities." By posting this I've probably now jinxed myself...lol

I agree with a lot of what has been said above and even though @Fillitup57 has already had his weekend of fun, would simply say: Club Z - rougher, plenty of drug use - not in the open, but not monitored or door checked, I don't recall ever even seeing a condom on the premises, and feels "dirtier" (in a good way) - it's definitely a vibe. There's a pretty wide array of different types of guys there (ages, body types, etc.). If you're pretty low key and chill about who you mess around with you and scene, it's pretty fucking awesome. I've had a ton of fun there. If you can spring for it, get a sling room. It's really large so you can have people over, there's a large bed, so it's good for some group fucking. One thing to note: Club Z has levels so you have to go up and down stairs a bit to access various parts of the club. Steamworks - much more sanitary, the crowd skews younger IMO, and there's a mix of safe/bb fucking occurring so I've had some moments where there's been a condom convo. I went to the first ever Cumunion at Seattle Steamworks and I still remember arriving there right at 9 or 10 or whenever it started and about 10 minutes later, was getting fucked raw at the edge of the dark area (not very visible) and some dude who had been there before the party started came up and said something like "you really should use protection." (Ironically, there was a wall container of condoms right in front of me). Both are good for differnet reasons. And if you've got the cash, they aren't far away from each other so you can always walk from one to the other.

Had a pretty slutty Friday night to Saturday this weekend. 5 loads in me and I fucked a slutty bottom. Was partying with two of the dudes who fucked me, one dude twice. Kept telling them about this story and describing it which was really spinning them up and ended up getting my hole fucking assaulted and fucked for like three hours.
