Just about any of the downtown hotels are good in re: a place to stay. I'd look for something near old town/historic district, just because of the charm. In re: raw fucking, HawksPDX bathhouse allows open barebacking, and Steam Portland allows barebacking if it's not in the public areas. I've been to both, and been bred multiple times at each. Both the Oregon Theater and the Paris Theater are hit and miss, but both have open barebacking, and the Oregon Theater has a little array of gloryhole booths up front near the stage. Most of the ABS in the area have plenty of gloryholes, and a lot of them -- Fat Cobra, for example -- are known for their barebacking clientèle. My recommendation? Come visit, and post an ad to Craigslist when you get here. You'll have room visitors, plenty of opportunity to sample the nightlife/other venues, and more cum than you can shake a dick at.

I miss Club PDX, too, but Hawks is pretty fun. It may not have an Army Jeep, but it's got the slings, dark room, and gloryholes. The Oregon Theater is okay, but it can be pretty hit or miss. I've had some great times there in the past, but lately it seems like action's tapering off; then again, that could be because of its parking situation. The Paris is a revamp of what used to be the Jefferson; it's nice, but seems to be a bit ... I don't know ... tired? I still enjoy going, but it doesn't have the same sleezy/homey vibe that the Jefferson did.

I'd agree with RedDog80 and GermanFucker: it's an antibody test. As they note in their disclaimers and warnings, though: - A positive result with this test does not mean that you are definitely infected with HIV, but rather that additional testing should be done in a medical setting. - A negative result with this test does not mean that you are definitely not infected with HIV, particularly when exposure may have been within the previous 3 months. So while it's helpful in serosorting, if you're barebacking, you're still taking your chances. The test will help, obviously, and I use it in between my screenings at the doctor's office, but it's still subject to the limitations all such tests have: you have to wait for the possibility of seroconversion after infection to be sure of whether or not you're infected. Please note that this won't change my behavior, but it's still nice to know -- approximately, at least -- what your one-on-one partner(s) status is/are. If you're at a gloryhole or in a dark room, then all bets -- just like all condoms -- are off. -

In Portland proper, I like Hawks and Fat Cobra, and I'll occasionally get a load at Taboo or Blue Spot. Since I live in the Hillsboro/Beaverton area, I usually hit up Peeps or DK Wilds. Steam is hit or miss, but until I drop weight, get in shape, get a full body waxing, dye my hair, put in contacts, and adopt an attitude, it'll likely be more miss than hit.
