People have often called me a pessimist. I prefer to call myself realistic or a fatalist. Optimists often get disappointed. We pessimists expect the worst, and do receive a nice surprise if something works out in our favor. Otherwise, the hurt is expected when things go south. It might be a horrible way to exist for some, but a coping mechanism for those of us who follow this prescription.

I’m using VoiceOver on my iPhone as my screenreader. Actually, it never occurred to me to use the word “see.” Blind people definitely use visual words. But, in this case, I was trying to decide between using “meet” and “hook up.” There has got to be at least one other blind guy on here. We might not be a match, but it would be hot to know that I’m not totally alone on here.

Who did all of these vacationers vote for? Obviously, they didn’t vote for Trump because of a bad economy.
