There is nothing wrong with rejecting or being rejected. There is absolutely no reason to be mean, rude or bitchy about it however. A simple “no thank you” and “have a good night” is the polite and humane way to handle things. We all age, may gain weight for reasons beyond our control or could become disabled. Just be nicer people. Who knows, you might not want to fuck him, but he could become a friend. Couldn’t we all use another friend?

People have often called me a pessimist. I prefer to call myself realistic or a fatalist. Optimists often get disappointed. We pessimists expect the worst, and do receive a nice surprise if something works out in our favor. Otherwise, the hurt is expected when things go south. It might be a horrible way to exist for some, but a coping mechanism for those of us who follow this prescription.

I’m using VoiceOver on my iPhone as my screenreader. Actually, it never occurred to me to use the word “see.” Blind people definitely use visual words. But, in this case, I was trying to decide between using “meet” and “hook up.” There has got to be at least one other blind guy on here.
