In Italy PlanetRomeo worked really well for me. I changed my location to my Rome hotel location, changed my profile description to include text I'd be in Rome soon and put up a travel plan with a few pics a week before I travelled. Then started browsing interesting profiles so they could see I visited their profile and then they checked me out. Had my pick of guys who hit me up almost immediately wanting to hook up. Italians are horny bastards even though most are in the closet and an anon fuck with a foreigner is perfect for them (not likely to bump into me socially). And most didn't care about condoms.
Also in the Sauna in Rome. As soon as they found out I was foreign I became the ass to fuck and word seemed to spread around ;-) I stayed at a B&B practically around the corner with a hot-as-fuck host (who doubled as an escort in the evening!) so could go there often. I have very good memories of Rome, try it!
