    Ah ok, the National Rail site I checked wasn't as clear. That's a pain as I know you love to visit a certain club in the area on a Sunday every so often 🙂 I was there for the first time since it reopened Sunday 22nd January, had a great time so hoping to go again this week. How about the Greenhouse in Luton, can you get there? I've only been once and that was on a Monday shortly after one of the lockdowns so it wasn't that busy, but sure things have picked up now. Although it was quiet when I went, I liked the layout, so the potential could be good.

    I thought the rail strikes were only today and Friday this week. Not sure where in Bucks you need to get from but looking at Sunday from High Wycombe for example, instead of Marylebone the trains are going into Liverpool Street. Hope that helps?

    Thanks for the update @Spunkinmyarse, very comprehensive. Can't wait to get out there for Bear Week 2023, I arrive on the 16th March for 12 nights. Doesn't sound like much has changed since I was there last year, apart from Factory opening. Construction is my favourite and tend to do well there, Noxon has never been lucky for me, never had a single fuck there, so won't bother this time. I've had fun in both Reds and Zoo before so they'll get return visits and I will check out Factory. Enjoy the rest of your stay and keep accepting those loads 🙂

    That has been my dream for years, but now of course not so easy to achieve, reciprocal healthcare being one, as now you would need to purchase insurance to cover that, a visa for stays longer than 90 days would also be needed, leading to applying for residency. I also believe, but may be wrong, that you would need an annual income of EUR26,000 to retire there to pass all the checks (the figure changes), whereas before Brexit you wouldn't. 90 days every winter could be a good compromise, however. I'm still hoping @NLbear will ask me to marry him so I can get a Dutch passport, and then we could both move there! 😉 How about it @NLbear we could both spend our retirements going out cruising together! 🙂

    It's a good venue, plenty of space, unfortunately the event is midweek so no good for me. My only word of warning - watch the stairs going down when you enter as they're incredibly narrow and steep so could easily lose your footing. There is a handrail so use it.

    Was last on GC for Bear Week 2022 and will be back for Bear Week again in March 2023. Like @Spunkinmyarse will be looking forward to trying out the Factory. Thank you @Aixactif for the updates, love reading other guys perspectives on places.
