  1. PrEP was also a game changer for me. I now bareback with confidence. I pay nothing for the drug because the drug company covers my co-pays. Without insurance, the drug company offers PrEP free to low-income and working people. Generics can be bought for about $50 a month. Lab tests can be provided at a local low-income health provider if you do not have insurance. Check out the list of PrEP providers from the AIDS Foundation of Chicago. Many serve people without insurance. As a sexually active gay male, I accept the possibility of getting an STD. It goes with the territory. I am prepared to deal with it and manage the issue if it arises. Buddy, life is not riskless. Minimize the biggest risk, such as with PrEP, and deal with the others.
  2. How was your Steamworks visit? Were you able to get some loads up your ass? Did you try the fuck benches there?
  3. I like my bottom’s crack to be completely hairless. It would be good if he were cleaned out, pre-lubed and the hole relaxed. As a top, I carry a dopp kit, which includes a douche bulb, lube shooter, lube, small and medium butt plugs for tight hole stretching, and Imodium pills to limit the bottom’s need to take a dump. If the bottom is hot with a shaved ass, I have the tools to prepare him for a fuck.
  4. Yes, I put face pics online as well as full body photos. I am out at work and with others. I intentionally chose to live in a highly tolerant big city and stay with an employer who completely understands how gay men have sex.
  5. Dude, it looks like you need an enema or two not a douche before your sex club adventure. Holding a quart of salty water in your ass will do much more than a douche. Fiber and enemas will clean you out well.
  6. Definitely, many take multiple loads up their asses with no issue. I take PrEP because I only bareback. In fact, there have only been three confirmed cases out of many hundreds of thousands taking PrEP. It is 99.99 percent effective.
  7. I understand your wishing to wait before getting pozzed. It sounds like you are not ready to get pozzed now. You have not been on hormones long enough to fully feel like a woman and the androgen blockers may not be strong enough to prevent you from having an erection wile getting fucked. Further, the hormones have not yet changed your body composition to give you bigger hips and noticeable titties. If you do not have insurance and earn under 60k a year, the drug company that makes Truvada will provide it free for PrEP users. Just call Gilead Advancing Access and you can be enrolled in less than two weeks. Also, be sure to obtain a Gilead co-pay card. It can be used to buy Truvada. It offers $7,200 worth of credit and renews every calendar year. Technically, you might be able to obtain the co-pay card, buy Truvada at retail until the first of the year, where your insurance will cover it. In the next three months, you would not max out the co-pay card.
  8. My anus can be really tight. I have used the Colt Anal Trainer Kit to stretch my anal sphincters. Poppers do not expand a hole as wide as mechanical stretching does. Use dildos or butt plugs to expand the muscle and open the anus. It will be really uncomfortable but great fucks will be worth the effort.
  9. Besides PrEP, locate the free STD testing location in your area and get general STD tested monthly. Many issues can surface without symptoms. Some guys take a low dose of an anti-biotic as prevention against STDs. Happy fucking and take a load for me.
  10. Bottoms way outnumber tops. Realizing these numbers, you are more likely to find a bottom than compete for the limited number of tops. As a top, your technique will develop and improve. The legendary porn star tops fully connect and pleasure their bottoms. Being a top isn’t just a sexual position. It is an attitude and presence. Develop this aura and bottoms will be lining up.
  11. I like my balls to hang freely so I wear nothing underneath my shorts. I wear Ranger panties, which have their own lining. They are really short which helps with squats and spreading my legs apart on a bench. When I do headstands, my dick gets engorged and erect. Yes, it shows through the shorts and people have seen it. I don’t care though.
  12. I’m 5’7 and a top. Slings are hung for taller guys in mind and the slings are too high for me to have a successful fuck. Bottoms often don’t realize that shorter guys could fuck them on all fours or standing but not in the sling.
  13. As a top, jocks or thongs instantly tell me in a group situation that a man is a 100 percent bottom and is ready to be fucked. It is not necessary to discuss or negotiate roles. All they want to do is spread their legs apart and for me to go into their hole. I want the bottom naked while fucking though. It enables me to feel natural and wild. Also, I am fucking a male and want to be reminded of that.
  14. Hoffman Estates is on the far suburban edge of the metro area. Steamworks is the only bath house in Chicago and about 40 miles from Hoffman Estates. I live a few blocks from Steamworks. Nearly all of the action is bb.
  15. I have had an anal wort. I ended up seeing a homeopath who was able to make it go away without freezing or burning my anus. STD’s go with the territory of being a sexually active gay male. I enjoy bareback sex and am prepared to deal with what comes up.
  16. It sounds like you need a new doctor with whom you are comfortable sharing that you are a sexually active gay male. As such you enjoy being anally penetrated and inseminated by another male. I am this open and have had no problems. I am unconcerned about what my doctor thinks because he is fully comfortable with gay males sexually expressing themselves.
  17. Check out Bear Naked Chicago. The website is bearnaked.club The group has its fun at two different gay bars next door to each other at the intersection of Clark and Devon on the North Side. There is at least one party a month at each bar. The two bars have completely different personalities and attract a slightly different crowd at each bar. Don’t let the word bear confuse you. I have gone to the party at Jackhammer and found most of the guys reasonably thin. I am thin and lift weights three times a week at a Crossfit gym. I thought I would be in a room of lumberjacks and construction workers. There was a bigger assortment of men than what I originally thought. I am told it is a lot more bearish at the leather bar next door. Chicago has private gay male sex clubs. They welcome new members and visit Touche once a month to meet new people interested.
  18. Some insurers have different coverage for Truvada whether or not a person has HIV. I don’t know what fourth tier means. Call your insurer and ask specifically about costs. If your cost exceeds the $3,600 in co pay assistance, you can buy generic Truvada from overseas for about $50 a month or less. The PrEP Facebook group has details on the recommended companies for generic PrEP. When I enrolled in the Gilead copay program, a physical card was sent to my home. Be aware of this and use a work address. Also, I am tested twice a year for HIV and kidney health, according to protocol. Bills are sent to my home for the doctor’s visits and laboratory tests. You might want to have an alternate address for these mailings. Only certain doctors are able to prescribe PrEP. My doctor is an HIV specialist at a specialty health clinic for HIV positive men and well known in the gay community. If his name or clinic were Googled, it would be obvious for the purpose of the visit. I’m openly gay so it is not an issue for me but it could be a problem for those who absolutely need privacy.
  19. I mostly top and appreciate the comments from the bottom men. It is hard for me to imagine feeling connected to a dude and not being able to share my seed inside him. I feel more confident about the experience though when the bottom is limp. I don’t feel the expectation after a fuck to flip over and accept getting my ass fucked in exchange for the other dude bottoming for me.
  20. The chances are next to zero on PrEP. Much higher without it.
