Hiv Meds, Constipation, And Cleanliness

Some of you on HIV meds may recognize this particular quandary. My cocktail of meds for "IT" are epivir, norvir, atazanavir, and zidovudine, one of which warns about constipation while the others warn against diarrhea. Constipation has won out consistently. While I take the necessary inducements (colasce or miralax), I seldom feel comfortable, let alone empty.

 

Assuming I could find a top and actually feel like getting fucked (the discomfort frequently takes away that desire, btw), I have a question that I can't really ask my female GP.  Where does the blockage generally occur? That is, how long a cock could I take without him hitting something unfortunate? (I realize that everyone's body is different, but in general). I would still do my best to clean out, of course, but some thoughts would be welcome. (Especially as I'm heading East in mid-August for a function and would like to make good use my expensive hotel room!)

Sorry to hear of your dilemma... My first "advice" is get a different GP doctor, one that you CAN talk to about any issue.

If your meds are causing side-effects you're not comfortable with, maybe look to change them.
