Just think of the reasoning behind monogamy....it's to ensure that children who are conceived are actual blood relatives of the father. We know they come from the mother so there's no question about that. As gay men, and other iterations of the rainbow community, I think it's unrealistic knowing our nature....now, we can talk about love, and expectations of not spreading diseases, but an adult convo between two adults about plenty of things is always in order before a relationship begins. And healthy communications is def. in order.

Among men, monogamy is unrealistic.  Men are, by nature, designed to have numerous sex partners in order to preserve the species.  Even though that is no longer a priority, the natural urge to spread our seed is still there.   Just look at the popularity of sex clubs, ABS video arcades, bath houses, and hook-up web sites.  Men are looking for sex, not so they can procreate, but for the pure animalistic pleasure of sex.
