On the face of it, there's no actual *reason* that I can come up with to demean gay incest. 

The reason "incest" carries such a regrettable cachet, is the assumption that it would be a) heterosexual, and b) between siblings or close relatives.  That kind of incest (between closely-related male-female participants) can result in a very regrettable mix in the gene pool, with serious, life-long results.  

That said, when it's between two siblings/close relatives of the same gender, no procreation can possibly take place, thus eliminating the natural and well-earned status of being [banned word].  I don't have a brother (that I know of anyway), so I can only offer that I see no real reason two family members of the same gender shouldn't extend their mutually-felt feelings to the sexual level.  I can definitely see how a father/son arrangement could be difficult to maneuver, if the son were underage. 

But, there are potential missteps to every relationship - what counts in how they're dealt with.
