Which church? In a lot of Christian churches especially early Christian churches polygamy, and exogamy were encouraged.

Also you have cultures that are not Christian or non-Western, where monogamy is practised, and the societal norm for centuries, or still is.

I have not dated any men or women who do sex or sex work for $$$ I probably would not as most people who do sex for pay are not always interested in this.
