Are you serious ???  One buck short of a G for a night at the LINK ???

Guys should check out Inn Leather - I'd take that over the Link any day !!!  I suppose the sooner the better, too.

Yeah.... I checked for the same weekend and found the same rates. Crazy!

The Days Inn Oakland Park was quite reasonable. It's close to Wilton Manors and I've always gotten a lot of loads when I've stayed there. Have never stayed at Inn Leather.

Serious!  My friend has stayed at IL before, and loved it, but was curious about other guesthouses as he's a cheap ass.

As a side note, i was looking at Island House in KW for a potential trip.  When I go there, I usually go mid/late July to celebrate my birthday a few weeks late as their seasonal prices go down.  Not anymore!  They have a flat rate now.  The small room I usually get for around $100 is now $300+ year round!

If they are going to charge $999 a night for the LiNK it better come with unlimited dick all night because the owners are nuts.....You're not going there to sleep or enjoy the "amenities", you are going there to fuck.  Give me a break....

Sometimes with special events in an area motel rooms can get stupidly expensive.

I've seen Motel 6 and places worse than that charging $300-$500 a night around here when big events like SXSW or ACL are going on in town.  Even just football and basketball game weekends those places can be super expensive if they are close to campus.

Plus, there's a baths on Oakland Park Blvd called Clubhouse II.  It's not at all one of these glitzy bathhouses, but it's fun.  It's where our CumUnion events are held, along with some taking place at Slammer.

I'll be the first to admit it well off the beaten path, but there are a lot of guys that do stay there and have a pervectly filthy time of it.  It's quite close to the airport, and you'd need to either Uber or rent a car to get up to W.M.  But then, you'd definitely need a ride to get anywhere from Link,  There are a decent number of locals that buy day-passes for Inn Leather, and you don't have to be wearing the hides - most guys don't wear much of anything at I.L.  By the time Pig week rolls around, the extreme heat should have dissipated too.

Wow !!!  I haven't been to KW for a number of years now, but Island House was always the go-to place ... If I.H. is that much, I wonder what some of those swell guest-houses are charging 😬

Around the same.  Still expensive but at least bigger rooms, usually without having to share bathroom

Just a thought on the Link. They obviously HAVE to have a clue their place is a sex motel at its core, but possibly the idea of 70% of the rooms over Pig Week being anon bottoms ass up for walk in action might be too much for them to deal with, so they set the price at the "if you have to ask you cannot afford it" price. 1, or 2 guys with multiple visitors might not be a red flag for the police. But if there were 50 guys all door open, ass exposed with some non Pig Week people staying there ( it is right after Thanksgiving, so between long weekend get aways and people heading out on a cruise, it is possible) could lead to a lot of complaint calls, esp if the guys coming for some anon ass start playing balcony bingo and bouncing in and out of rooms and loitering around.

Can I just say, FUCK Florida. The whole state is full of hate and culture wars! The water is so hot the fish are dying but they’ll take anyone’s money.  Nothing there is worth my time or cash. Go somewhere else

Not quite, meetme.  There are not a lot of reliably Democratic areas, but there are a few.  Notably, Broward County, in which Fort Lauderdale is located.  Miami Dade isn't a bastion of hatreds, it's a huge population center full of all kinds of folks of every tradition and political view.  Yes, farther north there are some hellish areas (The Villages, for instance), and they're steeping in their own hatreds.  But saying the whole state is "full of hate and culture wars" is just not accurate.

Yes, we have a pimply-faced prick of a Governor, mostly because in the last gubernatorial election the Dems ran a rather flawed candidate.  Yes, we have plenty of problems to deal with, but there are people of good-will here too.

Problem is, if he can spend  1k$ a night for cheap motel then he aint hot.

Its the low / middle class men who make an effort to be hot. So all you gonna see comming out of these rooms are escorts

Anyone remembers parliament house in the 80s, rooms at 50$, blue colars open orgies, most exensive car in the parking lot was a ford mustang, not one fukn bmw/ Mercedes in sight
