Sad news out of Minnesota ...

... NOT !!

It seems that the Pillow Pimp has also run out of luck, just as his Lord and Master is running out of luck.

News reporters filmed employee's being "excused" from the Pillow Pimp's factory in Minnesota, since the con-man-in-chief, Mike Lindell, is behind on his rent.  Seems that a number of major retailers have refused to carry those pillows, given his lies, misappropriations, continuing political mischief, and more.

Unfortunately, I never did get around to buying one of those pillows (to avoid nightmares), so I'm unable to comment on their usefulness.  Word has it that Orange J. is furious, since all that orange hair-dye he uses just soaks into the pillows, and now he can't afford to keep buying new ones, and Mikie-boy can't just give him more.

It seems that the RNC is really full of conmen, circus barkers, grifters, pickpockets, liars, thieves, all wrapped up in the Magavoid Mania.

Sleep tight, all you piggies ..... 😁

One report said he was $200k behind in his rent

Really !!!

The owner of that building must be nuts - letting such a politically-charged business get that far behind is asking for a default.  Maybe he can ask the RNC to cover the unpaid rent ... maybe he can waste his breath asking other magaroid* folks for some dough too.

*similar to another word beginning with "h", and usually plural ...

There's an expression that's been around since Trump entered politics, coined, I believe, by Rick Wilson, a former Republican campaign operative (and by his own admission, one of the rougher-playing ones) who turned on the GOP when Trump became their nominee. "Everything Trump Touches Dies" is the phrase, and it's true. His father had built up a downright enormous real estate empire consisting of tens of thousands of apartments, all of which were essentially paid for and which were, for the most part, cash cows. Trump convinced his brother and sisters that they needed to sell everything not long after his father died; they got far less than they would have had they not been in a "fire sale", all so Donnie could raise more cash to keep himself out of bankruptcy.

Three casinos - all bankrupt and shut down. Dozens of other businesses - often closed before bankruptcy (but still stiffing lots of vendors).

Even the people around him - can anyone name a single person who associated himself with Trump and came out ahead in any way? Lindell's just the latest in a long, long line of people Donnie used and discarded. Starting with the man who taught him what he knows about this - Roy Cohn, who was Trump's bulldog attorney before Michael Cohen, until Cohn (a self-loathing closeted gay man) contracted HIV and died, with the IRS having nailed him on tax charges, his law license revoked, and his assets being seized as he lay dying.

(Side note: Cohn was as vulgar and trashy as Trump; like Trump, he cheated on his taxes, routinely stiffed vendors, and - shades of Diet Cokes and Big Macs - loved champagne spiked with Sweet-N-Lo. And just as Trump constantly accuses people of things he's himself done, and expresses contempt for them, Cohn was a Jew who hated Jews, a lawyer who hated lawyers, and a gay man who detested "fags".)

Everything . Trump . Touches . Dies. Everything.

That would make a really cool bumper-sticker.  Maybe just the initials:  E.T.T.D. ?  That would encourage other folks to ask what it stands for, and an opportunity to explain.

I might consider such a bumper sticker.  And indeed none of Bootman's post is new stuff.  Is one of the reasons I am surprised at the widespread support he seems to enjoy.  More, why are so many who were jailed because of him still supporting?  What's in that cool aid they all seem to be drinking?

That has long been true of the contractors and vendors he stiffed, some of them that used him on multiple occasions and yet continued to do business with him and supported his bid for the presidency. I'm a long time reader of Rick Wilson, and he noted that particular issue as well as coining ETTD (rarely spelled out) during the 2016 campaign.

The most beautiful thing about the whole Cohn thing is that people who know who he was often know the portrayal in Angels in America. Which was about as flattering as it should have been.

What was that stuff people were putting in cool-aid years ago?  When "hippies" were cool?  I remember they called it "tripping" .... LSD, maybe?

To me, and ex-Chicagoan, that only meant Lake Shore Drive; the major arterial that goes from the far S side to the far N side, parallel to the lake.
