Well, it seems that the serial sexpig of the clearly straight variety was forced to withdraw from the position he was breathtakingly inappropriately nominated for.  Even his fellow Republicans bucked the will  of their Lord and Master and kicked him in the (well-used) balls.  It seems the Venmo trail just kept after him to the point that even the R's in Congress were pushed into taking a stand.  I'm assuming that there were knee-splints a-plenty furnished to the weak-kneed committee.

Also of interest, (less than the above, however)  but notable none-the-less, the ICC has formally charged Nettie Yahoo with crimes against humanity, and indicted him (apparently, some 40,000 + innocents) for war crimes in Lebanon.  Since the US is not a signatory to that institution, (along with the 120 other Countries that ratified) the Government apparently can't grab him (Netanyahoo) when he comes to kiss the suet-laden ass of his buddy one of these days.

Reminds me of a tv show my Grandmother used to watch;  As the World Turns ....

His accuser, Joel Greenberg , was involved in a sex trafficking ring and he was eventually sentenced for it. It consisted of getting girls for sugar daddy’s and at least one was a minor. However Joel did a plea bargain where he lies and tried to implicate Matt Gaetz. For political reasons the Zio press jumped all over this.   Joel isn’t reliable. He has 33 felonies the list of amazingly stupid things he did is enormous. Even the completely corrupted Merrick Garland refused to prosecute the case.  Sorry to see him go.

This is truly great news. It’s too bad that 88% of Israelis support his genocidal policies.

Would you mind elaboration on your wish to see them go?

I dislike them both - I dislike most, possibly all of Trump's picks.  And no, I'm not going to elaborate.  Even some Republicans don't agree with many of Trump's choices.  There's going to be some interesting fighting during the hearings.

And yet, the R's of the Congressional committee refuse to release their findings.  Why would they do this if Gaetz is "innocent"?

I  hear you. No intel on that but it does look less than good.

Hmmm, he never did it for me.  Now Jim Jordan, as much as he often pisses me off is for me, pretty hot.  Adam Kinzinger is welcome anytime as well.

apologies for the double-post ... I'm probably the only guy that couldn't figure out how to make the one disappear and the other one remain.

My understanding (based on various reports on NPR) is that the report isn't finished yet, so they are kicking the release vote down the road to the next meeting (Dec 5 if memory serves).
