Should I skip horse market this saturday?

Got a mare ticket this saturday for the Horse Fair in London, underground club location. 

After reading around here, thinking of skiping this. Seems like the format revolves around stallions picking mares one by one instead of an orgy style where any mare can be fucked at any time? Also seems that you can't do poppers as a mare as your hands are tied?   Email also mentions something about beautiful young hot men which I'm not (mature type here). It all sounds pretty dire and a waste of time. Only have that night in london so maybe there are better places to go.

No, it's orgy style. The stable  boys lead the mares into the shared space and then the stallions go for whoever they like. I go as a stallion. Some of the mares have poppers, I think you can lose the restraints if you want.

There are mature guys there. I think more of them are stallions than mares, but I did see some as mares. I don't know how much action they get.

For me it's great fun every now and then I usually get a decent ten guys, some of them very hot!

Alright, thanks for the info. I guess I'll give it a go as a mare. If it's not working for me I can always bail.

Yes, I agree with @bluedragon: it’s orgy style, just like similar parties elsewhere. I’ve been as a mare a few times (though not for a while), and you can certainly do poppers, even with your hands loosely restrained (in front of you). The worst part for me is the waiting around beforehand while everybody gets ‘processed’: seems to be quite disorganized and takes forever, but they may have got better at this by now.

Other than that, it can be quite a good night- though like Horsefair anywhere, it can be a bit hit and miss depending on who’s there and where you get positioned in the (small) space. Be prepared to move if you are not happy with your position- the rules are not very strictly enforced, and if you need adjust your hood so you can peek out and see where you are going, just do it. By the end of the night, most mares have removed their hoods and hand restraints anyway.

As you already have a ticket, I would give it a go- I don’t think there’s much else on this Saturday bar the usual options anyway. As you say, if you don’t like it you can always leave and go to the Vault instead (it’s walkable), or a sauna like Sweatbox if you fancy and all-nighter.

I've been to a couple of these at Central Station.  I agree with a lot of comments.  As a mare, positioning is pretty important.  I heard a couple of my neighbours getting cock but I was getting nothing.  I moved and it made a difference.  Event seemed to be over quite quickly but not helped by organisers taking an age to sort things out. Start time got delayed but finishing time didn't. 

If you want anonymous cock, try other places for naked evenings. I find Vault good value and more recently the Bunker on City Road for naked Wednesdays called Buff.

I wanted to go as a mare the last time i was in london.  the organiser told me i was welcome to buy a ticket but that as Im chubby i wouldnt get much action.  Seems like they only want "beautiful" unicorns not Rhinos to attend.  Made me feel like shit tbh

That sucks.  As a community, we are our own worst enemies when it comes to acceptance and inclusion. the people running these events are no saints in this regard. 

I was also put off the London Horse Fair, because on the website, I saw that you had to contact the organiser first if you hadn't attended before to be vetted as they only want 'hot' guys to attend. 

I remember going to a sportskit party at The Hoist in its last days where they had wrestling in pools filled with gunge. They were asking for volunteers, so I stepped up, only to be told - by the guy holding the microphone - thanks but we'll let the hot guys go first and you might get a go if there's time at the end.  I left and never went back.  

The guy on the entrance of the Sauna in Waterloo that looked me up and down and said "save yer money, love, nobody in here will touch you." 

These experiences are hurtful and cutting at the time - play to our anxieties - and I certainly wont' forget them. Over time though, it does make me more determined to overcome these prejudices. Confidence is sexy, and if you can pull that off, you can have as much fun as you want. It just takes a while to get there.

I went as mare in May in London. It was not that big but very fun. I started off in a bad spot (in some corner) but found a better spot after asking a guy to move me. I got 4 loads maybe would have been more except some guy fucked me for about an hour all over haha. It was hot but by the time he was done it was slowing down a lot. It was over quicker than I realized. Before it I had been worried about the opposite, having to tap out. Hope you had fun 🙂

I find stories like this so depressing. But I wonder if these people are desperately unhappy and/or insecure themselves if they feel the need to put others down. I think, ultimately, it says more about them than it does you, or anyone else.

One of the things I loved about the late, much lamented Fort in south London was there was absolutely no attitude like that anywhere. All ages, all shapes etc were welcome. From memory, SOP is much the same.

I'm on the beefier side these days and there's definitely a market for this kind of bottom. 

I was completely put off by the wording of this event and that's why I started the thread. It's Friday now as I write this and I'll show up but I'll definitely cut it short if I don't belong. 

I find it hilarious that organizers will talk about "hot guys only" when that means "fit and muscular". Which it's just a type...

There are plenty of events that are more friendly and welcoming to all.  They tend to be the smaller events and venues that have a following. Bigger more commercial events tend to be the ones that are less welcoming.  For them it's all about creating a perception or image that attracts the masses. That's commercial marketing for you...    Smaller events and venues have a more loyal following and are defined more by the people that go there and survive on recommendation and word of mouth. 

While most events at central station fall into this category, horse fair is an exception as it is run by the people behind SBN/NBN.  I would cast your net wider and try some of the smaller events at places like CS Underground, Bunker and Lord Clyde.  The smaller saunas are also a lot more friendly and accepting than the big city centre ones.    

When I'm in Berlin, For much the same reason and logic, I'll always look for smaller events and avoid things like BLF, Folsom, Hustlaball and Snax.

One thing I will say, @rawfuckr, is that I hope you’re not expecting douching facilities or anything civilized like that at Central Station- the toilets are limited and pretty rough. Make sure you arrive well prepared. I usually go to the Vault beforehand to try to pick up a couple of loads before the main event. That way, I know I’m “good to go”… Generally, once I start taking loads, my body seems to behave itself till the following day.

On the plus side, your expectations of this whole thing seem very low- always the best way to avoid disappointment!

this sounds very different, and disappointing compared to Horsemarket in the states.  i was just a stablehand last week in LA and I can tell you all the body types were well represented and everyone got fucked, repeatedly.  some guys of course more than others, but on the whole it was one big fucking dick fest.   i will be a Mare sometime in the spring - i can't wait.
