Hairy armpits or stinky armpits?

Ever since I was a young teen, I've been incredibly turned on by hairy armpits. My first awakening to hairy pits was in a doctor's waiting room, accompanying my aunt around age 12. This young guy, maybe 20, was sitting nearby with his hands behind his head for some reason. His bushy armpit hair was poking out the end of both sleeves of his tight t-shirt. I was soooooooo intrigued by the look of it. Clearly signalling he was sexually mature and ready to rock and roll! That incident sent me on an obsessive journey for many years, trying to get a peak at the armpit hair on any young guy I encountered in my life. Made me so fucking horny and drove so many extended masturbation sessions over the years.

Fast forward to today, though, and most armpit fetish chats, blogs or posts on Reddit, X, Bluesky, etc., seem to be about the smell of armpits, not the hairiness. Makes me a bit mad, tbh.

I can't stand stinky armpits - musk, body odour, mansmells, whatever you want to call it. 🦨 Give me cologne, soap or deodorant fresh anytime! Also hate shaved or clipped pit hair. Why try to look like a sexually immature boy or a woman? We're men. We have hair!

But hairy pits are still a massive turn on. The hairier the better! I *so* wish my pits were bushier or furrier than they are.

So when (and why) did stinky armpits become a thing, and hairy ones lose their attraction???

I had a first hairy pit experience very similar. Was always a bit obsessed with manly hairy armpits.

I am also not looking for stinky pits. Not a fan of deodorant either.

The perfect pit experience for me is a hairy guy who showered but didn't cover his own natural scent with any deodorant or cologne... a bit of sweat is also hot...

Sweaty but if there's a stink it's gotta be a 'fresh' stink from recent exertion, not stale. Definitely no deodorant or aftershave!

I love hairy armpits. I agree with Airmax re the smell - a fresh masculine smell is horny, but rank really turns me off.

Hairy and if they're sweaty it's got to be fresh like post workout or something because as much as I like a manly scent, stale BO anywhere on the body just isn't nice.

Same here.  I was always concerned that I was a late bloomer.  I wasn't, really, just that I was very impatient and knew a couple early bloomers. 

When I was a pre-teen, looking at a guys pits was how I could tell whether someone was developed which, before I hit puberty, was something I was particularly fixated on.  Even to this day, I like seeing young guys' pits and trails  (no, not doing anything sexual, but I can look!)

I first had my hairy armpit awakening as a middle schooler in the locker room. A classmate lifted his arm and I saw a thick collection of black hair. It was incredible! It was as dense as the hair on his head. 

My armpit hair isn't thick, so I'm extremely attracted to men with very hairy pits! 

I do love a man's musk and a sweaty man... but an armpit that smells of cologne or is fresh also gets me hard. 

It depends on the circumstance. Sometimes I want a sweaty animal. Other times I want a clean-cut gentleman. Give me both.

Ok - so I am a very late bloomer when it comes to hairy pits …(as I didn’t discover my fascination until I was an adult) but they are a huge turn on for me now…. Especially if the guy has dark body hair… woof!!!

and like @TallAussieBtm I am not into man smells at all - I don’t mind nice fresh sweat (like in the sauna at the baths) - but not ripe 

and as I enjoy not only the view…. But also burying my face in it (so prefer they don’t use deodorant as that is kind of like fly paper on my tongue)

Just to be clear, I'm all for sweat. I love being drenched in sweat at the gym and during sex - hot sweaty summer or sauna sex is the best! Also love showing my sweaty pits off at the gym too, in a singlet (tank) or sleeveless top. I don't understand why so many straight guys at the gym - especially younger guys - cover their pits up with t-shirts or compression shirts. Let those pit hairs fly free! It's only BO I can't stand.
