Butter for lube

I’ve used a lot of different things for lube, but I’ve never tried a stick of butter. Has anyone done this?

I haven't but unless it's a particular fetish I wouldn't recommend it. 

You are much better off with Crisco, JLube, abolene. If you want a butter smell,  maybe butter flavored Crisco.

Actually, I have used real butter a number of times.  As far as I'm concerned, butter is the perfect food - I've loved it since my earliest days.  

However.  When butter is over-churned (i.e. used for lube and literally churned inside the Hole), the result can be disappointing, no matter how good it tastes.  It can get - oh - what's the word - maybe "lumpy" - with too much churning. 

I'll stick with loads (either fresh or pre-frozen) and saliva.

I had a bf years (ok decades) ago who was a bottom and insisted on butter as the lube when I fucked him (this was around 1980 when my normal lube of choice was Vaseline)

While I was by then living in Boston, fortunately having been raised in Wisconsin I always had butter available 

And I could kind of see how growing up in America’s dairy land that guys could have started off with butter as there always would have been lots around, but I had never used it, and in all my years Carl was the only one who had this habit (fetish?) … and Interestingly he had grown up in New Orleans …
