PozBearWI Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago @Pozzible thanks for the hyperlinks although I rarely open one's posted here. But I don't take Megyn Kelly as a trusted source anyway; so.... Perhaps Trump's color suggests he has been toast all along and it didn't matter. 🙂 The "teflon don" reference isn't without merit. I'm not sure anything is going to matter until our house and senate start listening to the majority of the voting public. Did it really change anything while the house was on vacation compared to the 41 days before? It isn't so much what Trump did. The house and senate ratified pretty much anything he chose to do. They certainly had the authority to control this but actively chose not to. Will they behave differently in the coming months? I hope so, but I would not bet on it. Quote

The impetus seems to be that finally the Epstein shit has hit the fan, His Nibs is shaking in his booties, and lo - after these many years - the R's are finally smalling the rot they've been supporting. It's all in flux presently, but that won't last all that long. Once the R's realize that His Nibs is a liability, not an asset to their careers, they'll stumble over themselves to preserve their jobs; perhaps too little, too late. 1 Quote
tallslenderguy Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago (edited) I follow several political podcasts, a few lawyers, The Bulwark among them. One of my favorites is historian HC Richardson, i appreciate that she doesn't use click bait manipulative titles for her podcasts, and often has some great interviews/discussions with prominent's. i found her analysis of the current state of affairs balanced and level headed. PozBearWI Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago I pay for her podcasts as that small amount helps make this profitable enough for her to keep up this quality public information. For me she has become a trusted voice. Not the only one; but she is on my short list of people I want to read or hear as our national politics unfolds. 1 Quote
