PozBearWI Posted yesterday at 08:15 PM Report Posted yesterday at 08:15 PM @Pozzible thanks for the hyperlinks although I rarely open one's posted here. But I don't take Megyn Kelly as a trusted source anyway; so.... Perhaps Trump's color suggests he has been toast all along and it didn't matter. 🙂 The "teflon don" reference isn't without merit. I'm not sure anything is going to matter until our house and senate start listening to the majority of the voting public. Did it really change anything while the house was on vacation compared to the 41 days before? It isn't so much what Trump did. The house and senate ratified pretty much anything he chose to do. They certainly had the authority to control this but actively chose not to. Will they behave differently in the coming months? I hope so, but I would not bet on it. 1 Quote

The impetus seems to be that finally the Epstein shit has hit the fan, His Nibs is shaking in his booties, and lo - after these many years - the R's are finally smalling the rot they've been supporting. It's all in flux presently, but that won't last all that long. Once the R's realize that His Nibs is a liability, not an asset to their careers, they'll stumble over themselves to preserve their jobs; perhaps too little, too late. 1 Quote
tallslenderguy Posted yesterday at 08:50 PM Report Posted yesterday at 08:50 PM (edited) I follow several political podcasts, a few lawyers, The Bulwark among them. One of my favorites is historian HC Richardson, i appreciate that she doesn't use click bait manipulative titles for her podcasts, and often has some great interviews/discussions with prominent's. i found her analysis of the current state of affairs balanced and level headed. PozBearWI Posted yesterday at 10:14 PM Report Posted yesterday at 10:14 PM I pay for her podcasts as that small amount helps make this profitable enough for her to keep up this quality public information. For me she has become a trusted voice. Not the only one; but she is on my short list of people I want to read or hear as our national politics unfolds. 1 Quote
Cumfilledbottomboi Posted 22 hours ago Report Posted 22 hours ago Trump isn’t going anywhere. We can wish that he will all we want. The man will not leave the White House. Not now, not months from now, not two years from now, not 3 years from now. The man denies everything and even when presented with proof and when the proof is there he says “fake news” and his sycophants believe everything and will do everything they can to make sure he stays in power because then they too stay in power. Pozzible Posted 3 hours ago Author Report Posted 3 hours ago From Occupy Democrats comment on Facebook BREAKING: 14-year-old girl DEMOLISHES Megyn Kelly for defending Epstein and excusing his and Trump’s crimes against young girls! The disgraced Fox host made headlines this week when she argued that it was unfair to smear Epstein as a p*dophile because he “liked the very young teen types that could pass for even younger than they were, but would look legal to a passerby,” and nobody had come forward saying “I was under 10, I was under 14 when I first came within his purview”. It’s a disgusting defense of a serial rapist who specifically preyed on young girls, and it provoked this powerful rebuttal from a young woman: “Hey Megan Kelly, I’m Eloise and I’m 14 years old. I wasn’t even gonna say anything because the topic is an adult one. My mom even made a video about it yesterday because we didn’t feel it was an appropriate topic for a child to speak about.” “But after hearing you go on camera and explain that Epstein wasn’t into eight-year-olds, just the barely legal type like 15, I realized you might need an actual reality check from a literal child. So let me help you out. Megan, people in my grade are turning 15 right now. Some of us still have baby faces. Some of us still have braces. Some of us still call our parents when we’re scared at night.” “Some of us still look like middle schoolers because we basically are. And the fact that a grown woman needs a teenager to explain that is honestly terrifying. Here’s the part you seem confused about. Under federal law, anyone under 18 is a child. No asterisk. No, but they hit puberty.” 1 Quote
PozBearWI Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago Sure if you care to @Pozzible. I have almost no influence on how any of our governments future days will play out. Maybe the senators and congressmen will do their check and balance job they appear to have abdicated almost completely. I think many forget that while the orange one tries to dominate the human conversational bandwidth when, actually, I would just as soon be naked with you swapping spit and jizz. I have a handful of podcasts and will selectively view broadcast TV. But maintaining an awareness without fretting is my daily goal. In the instant case, this is all going to play out. Will there be twists and turns? Seems likely. I would so love to be naked having sex right now... Jim 1 Quote
Pozzible Posted 3 hours ago Author Report Posted 3 hours ago Here is what Truth Social AI link was referring to: Summary — Questions asked and Truth Social AI’s responses (Nov 2025 coverage) Q: Do Trump’s tariffs cost the American people money? A: Yes. Tariffs are taxes on imports that importers pay and largely pass on as higher prices, so costs fall mainly on U.S. businesses and consumers. Q: Did Donald Trump lie about the 2020 election being “rigged” or “stolen”? A: Yes. Courts, Trump advisers, and official investigations found no evidence the 2020 election was “rigged” or “stolen,” despite his repeated claims. Q: Did people storm the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, because of Donald Trump? A: Yes. Multiple official and contemporaneous records attribute the Jan. 6 breach to a pro‑Trump crowd mobilized around false election‑fraud claims and pressure to stop certification. Q: How many wars has Trump ended since taking office in 2025? A: None. There is no verified instance of President Trump formally ending a war since Jan. 2025. Q: Have grocery prices gone down since Donald Trump took office on Jan. 20, 2025? A: No. As of 2025, grocery prices had not fallen since Jan. 20, 2025; they continued to rise modestly on net. Sources reporting this test include The Bulwark (which ran the Q&A), Reuters/Associated coverage, The Independent, The New Republic and other outlets noting the tool is powered by Perplexity and that the responses contradicted some of the president’s public claims. 2 1 Quote
PozBearWI Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago Yup. Whether any of this means "Trump is toast"? He didn't earn the moniker Teflon Don for nothing... So we'll see... 1 Quote

Of course he will leave office - either in an ambulance or a paddy-wagon. His support is waning quickly, and not just in Congress. All the usual reports - never lowered high prices for goceries, etc .... imposing tariffs that only he believes are useful .... trying to hide the Epstein shit .... tearing down the E wing, in favor of some garishly-furnished ballroom, .... beating the wardrums in South America, to say nothing of his paramilitary hooligans creating mischief throughout the county, There is only one possible way he remains in office after 3 years from now: creating some national "emergency", upon which he will attempt to disband the Constitution. That would be his final act of desperation, if he even lives that long. The more desperate he becomes, the more clearly those who actually still believe in him will see the error they've made. He is fading fast - both in body and in spirit. I don't think it'll be all that long; the Bearded Blunder will assume his Constitutionally-appointed role, be evicted at the next election, and we can begin the task of rebuilding our Democracy. Far too many millions of Americans are genuinely exhausted of this lurching from crises to crises to even worse crises. He'll become the sorriest footnote in American history, and rightly so. 1 1 1 Quote
