Red Roof PLUS+ in Secaucus is perfect. It's in an industrial area off of Route 3. Last year, I visited a friend who stayed a night at that motel while visiting New York. The motel has all outside corridors on three floors. There were truckers parked overnight and I noticed many single men stirring about at dusk.

Its Times Square - open 24 hours. I have never seen the place empty. All demographics cum and go but the majority are black and Latin guys. Rainbow Station is also a good option. But I don't think there are any glory holes in the basement. Plus you have hustlers and many other undesirables. Use caution as you've stated.

Outside of NYC - NJ LI Upstate - I don't think there are any. The Blue Store -Times Square area and Xcellent DVD at 14th and Sixth Ave are the only ABS with traditional glory holes left.
