Boy, i'm stil waiting to be called for second shot in NYC- my 30 day is up and i want to get the 2nd dose - why are we always so behind in NYC. i'm glad to see so many are getting their 2nd shots.

I wanted to swing back and update my trip to Fort Lauderdale. It didn't start well with a potential Covid spread from family member but test neg and stayed that way all way through so was good to go. FTL has changed- so many condos along Federal 1 and everywhere =they are even making 13th ST into some sort of walking blvd-- if anyone knows 13th - that was ghetto and rundown for years -Pride Factory was there but they just moved that week i arrived to Wilton Manors so all the gay shops/, bars etc clothing is now in Wilton Manors- which is basically a long strip mall with main parking in the Center and then lots of shops and bars in the area or across the street. I didn't make it to Eagle which is new so can't report. Monkeypox news was all over the news and expanding so i think that s why i think activity was low. The Club Ft Lauderdale =-still great , clean, great gym and good place to hangoout but parking lot fullish but inside it was like where is everyone - other than the darkish gloryhole room -no action- the Sauna had pockets of activity but everytim e i went in all i thought this is a hotspot for Covid so didn't stay - got fucked thru the gloryholes a few times but that was it. Clubhouse2 -in Oakland Park-- as for newbies- this is an older sauna catering to a mature crowd- so young thin and fun- no - not gonna happen these mature men like mature men -its not what it was when i first started going to FTL but it was a Bare Skinn Social night on Friday but it was just entertaining to see cumdumps cum in all ages and they certainly were putting out in the sectional sex area in the back area of the club. It was a nice visit -one kindly man took a ride and put me away. Slammers- still active- still great- lots of action there- i think there was a lack of cocksuckers because the gloryhole ramps just didn't seem like there were enuf mouths for cocks. The place is still the same- the little dark room off the entrance is still there but not as active in my memory as usual. I got most of my action there but it wasn't the frenetic pounding lots of free time bent over the table. The Circular bed in the back area was always full with butts competing for dick but again not enough dick for them all. It really was Hunger Games ! I think the Monkeypox news was just hitting and scaring people as it should- the Fornication party was cancelled and rightly so -they did the right thing- after reading all the brave commentary of exposure and therapy many are going through in the above forums and twitter -smart to take a break. I was freaking out coming home but after 2 weeks none of the prescribed symptoms and lucky today to get 1st dose and do my little part. I found it funny i haven't been anywhere in 4 years and locked down celibate taking care of elder and i decide to head out in this environment- i'm retiring -LOL but i'll take a break for awhile until 2nd dose in August if that happens-- not sure yet what NYC is going to do about the 2nd does or prioritize 1sts doses . I can sit out-- i have my memories -is that what the elders say? i''ve crossed over ! You're dont' know you crossed over until you're looking for lido-cane in the pharmacy ! Otherwise, it was nice to getaway-- I stayed at GAY hote-the big coconut- and it was lovely- a bit older but the pool was lovely the room/kitchen and nice big bathroom were perfect. It was near 13th and Publix so walkable to food, coffee,liquor and if you dont' rent a car -easy uber to beach or bars- e.g. Ramrod which was 10 min away or Slammers 10 mint away. I don't think i'll go back in July-to damn hot! i forgot about Florida heat- October better . Stay safe and hope FTL gets there does and everyone who wants a shot gets a shot. i just took my first dose today in NYC -Sunnyside Mass Vaccine center- lucky to have gotten an appointment last night and get a slot for today. So far, okay-tons of guys and what was the fashion call- i saw so many booty shorts! Even in the worst of times -fashion first 🙂 god love men!

Its a real end of era for my generation. It was one of the few places that held parties for Bears, People of color, Cum Union, leather all in one place -it wasn't perfect lord knows they were chintzy on papertowels but it had its brand. I don't know where or how these parties will succeed- i can only think of 2 places that might host but who knows. I'm glad i have the memories of the place. This is the last weekend i believe - i don't know if I'll make it but gonna try -one last hurrah. Finally after a long 3 years -i'll be on vacation in FTL - planning on be Community dump at Slammers and Club Ft Laudedale during my short weekend and going to Fornication for first time-can't wait to see how that goes. Is Eagle good to visit? Do they have a darkroom like the old place -well wasn't a darkroom more like the backyard of the bar with the barrels- oh how i loved that place on Sundays -watching Queer as Folk and then going to get some dick afterwards. I've decided to not attend MAL 2022- i don't think its worth the risk and walking around in cruising areas with a mask is not that appealing to be honest . I've avoided the Covid this long rather skip. i've had my glory days at MAL. Note- I was staying at Yotel- unbelievably difficult to cancel - there portal goes to Error 404 and no on no one responds to an email or picks up a phone. So, tip- join the Yotel club - register- get your booking then cancel it- it was the only way I could do it. Absolutely insane! Have fun to the attendees - will be there in Spirit.

Has anyone stayed at the Liason Hotel across the street from Hyatt ? Its now Yotel but how is it for cruising and pump n dump.. Staying there -could not get a room at Hyatt but want to host darkroom breeding at hotel. Just don't know how easy access for strangers to come up to rooms...

Ft. Lauderdale- Pig Week and its 2 weeks really will have tons of parties - so you'll need a car or UBER it- which I think they are recommending because of lack of parking in some venues. Slammers is a must visit and probably will be hopping during weekend. Its a sex club - think of it as a lite version of Laboratory. The bathhouses - Club Ft. Lauderdale on Broward Blvd and the Clubhouse on Oakland Blvd - must visits- Check their websites to see what is happening - they will have events. Club FTL-- is more modern and huge and relaxing with pool and gym -- parking is avail but then tight afterhours -- and Clubhouse has limited parking and its more old school 70s /80s vibe -bearish, older and bit more relaxed. Worthington - is very nice- its 3 hotels in one compound -so it will be very cruisy and 3 pools and if you don't like club/disco music- you're screwed cuz it goes all day i mean all day but the good thing is its near the beach walking distance a couple of minutes and central-so a cab ride or car will get you to any of the venues pretty easily. On Sunrise Blvd -there is STarbucks and Publix supermarket for food which are just over the drawbridge going to Slammers-- and on 13th St. -Pride Factory is a huge Gay store- poppers clothes etc are sold there-- poppers behind the counter so you'll have to ask -also called head cleaner . Miami is very flashy -a little uptight the worst of NYkers but Ft Lauderdale is very relaxed , retireees , laid back but you need a car or cab ride to most places - but you may find al lthe play at Worthington -it is very cruisy and tons of other gay bed & breakfast nearby--- also, locals like to get laid in afternoon - night time -forget it- go out you'll do better but daytime can be fun in my experience. Also, tip-the weekend afternoons are really good times to go at least they used to be-- its an older crowd and can mixed so go with open mind -you'll have a better time- they have lockers for $ 4 deposit which you get back when u return the locker so put your things away -keys, id etc - so you don't lose them if your clothes come off in darkroom toilet or the little porn theater. Don't end up on the pile of IDs sitting at the ticketbooth frontdesk 🙂

No, this is not walk you want to do -its too far! At the 7 station go down to terminal Bus Area and find Q49 -this is the first stop and its usually the first lane - first bus - take that bus and it will be about 20-30 min with traffic- it will go down 89th and turn on Astorial Blvd-the actual bus stop -stop right in front of theater -so easy . Then to return take Q49 at the Burger King - you'll see the stop on 92nd Street. its runs all night.

I stayed at the Link when they opened and thought it was perfectly fine. What could have happened in a couple of years? The rooms were quite spacious and i had to bring my shower shot with me but all and all was okay. yes, a couple of homeless nearby and staying in rooms but i like a little sketchy but the reviews on Tripadvisor have not been kind. It was a great location of Fed Highway- and House of Pancakes next door -easy parking access - perfect spot but i'm a little surprised.

How is Slammers-- let me know ? I miss that place and the little darkroom by entrance.....

Well , the website went down exactly at 2pm and then went back up 30 min but the Main hotel was already booked in less than 10 min - i can't even believe that but the reservations said try back in case of cancellations. Crazy! I booked a room in the Yotel across - so we'll see if that's any good. I'm back from my trip to Berlin. Returning to Lab.oratory was a great idea. The entrance is in same left position of the Berghain club but the door moved i noticed. Tip 1. Get their early!!!! they open on Fridays 10-12 - get there at least 9:30 -there was already 100 guys on line by the time I showed up at 9:45 and another 100 behind me. The fee is 10Euro now. I know the door guy had some bad rep but i found the experience just fine. They give you a wrist wrap for the night for buying bar drinks. and give you a bag for clothing. At end of night you collect your bag -dress and go pay your tab. Bring receipt to the doorman and then go. The place is as big as i remember if not bigger now. I noticed a dance club back deep in the club with stairwells going up to the rail promenade that overlooks the dance floor- i didn't remember this at all. The dark room is still same, the barn rooms with slings by the right of the bar still there. the gloryholes in back - new addition -they had those Czech booths-where you climb in and hoist your legs in straps and your butt is open to all but you and they can't see you. Of course the fail in this is that all the guys just went around to the entrance to see who it was in this booth. I only saw it used twice but definitely was fun. All most of action was in darkroom early-- i got plowed early and alot. but as night went on action was everywhere but realize alot of lurkers and guys just hanging socially in the bar. Their were guys in the bathroom sitting next to urinal waiting for piss etc- i never saw one used but they found their spot and stuck to it. Also, there is equipment to douche but i can't see putting that hose up my hole in that place but its there-someone needs to tell me if they used it ever??? I went early thank god-got fucked and then i left at 12 which was early but myhotel was on other side 45 min away by train and i just didn't want to be stuck and i was fucked out-i knew for me it was time. Well-the line waiting for men to get in had to be 300 guys it went out to the parkling lot area-i was shocked so trust me go early-so you get in and fuck and not waste time waiting on line to get in. BULL bar in Schoneberg gay area- is the dicy dive bar that any pig will love-- the bar (with coatcheck to underwear) is like a Las Vegas bar from 60s but then the backroom is practically blackout -on entry is a sling and then two more sllings in middle of room -the room is 17 x 17 with seating along the walls-not much and then then the toilets-guys in slings claim their spot and don't move. and guys just bend over and get bred. I walked in Friday night and in 5 min i was getting plowed by unseen men. It was quiet on Saturday but still got 2 loads -its a mix of men but it a sleazy place-its not a hi how you doing at all-its just quiet silent cocksucking and fucking. A must for all to visit at least once. Boiler sauna- i went on Monday afternoon-it was more senior aarp than Sundays. it was quiet and still the loveliest bathhouse but i didnt' get much action. So go on Sundays when its popular. Mutchmann's hosted the monthly Coffee and Cream party-its a poz party on 1st Sundays of month. Starts at 5pm no line just a few guys 9 euro check your clothes wear what you want and then play. i had no idea what this would be like it wasn't alot of people -mind you LAB has a Sundaytheme and bathhouse is quiet popular so other distractions but boy i'm glad i went early when they opened- i went downstairs to the bed platform and in 10 min i was bred by a bull of a German man 2 loads and then the crowd started filling up- i took some good loads and this time the early bird got the worm was true. The crowd was sexy mix of young, mature, bears, otters etc-it was not a big crowd but just right number. i stayed over an hour when i sensed the loads were done and there was no line or guys coming in so quiet party but well worth it if you're in Berlin at that time. I took about 17 loads during my weekend and the city is lovely. I don't know if i'll return -i think the city is built for youth to run free and i want to explore other places but if you haven't gone or have low libido -go to Berlin-it will be a good cure!

guys, I'm returning to Berlin next month so will update it all - last year was a bust with the airport strike so i missed alot of what i wanted to do so next month will be there 4 days and will try to hit as much as physically possible- Lab on Friday/ Sat ??? - Sunday- i think there is a coffee and cream but i can't be sure just yet and Boiler bathhouse and of course BULL so hopefully will be much more pleasant.
