  1. I just returned from facilitating a "support group". This one is actually a structured 18 week program. just GO. You've been given a lot of GREAT advice and you need to live in "THE SOLUTION" rather than the problem.
  2. Hey "POP", I Private messaged you... This link & the whole site, might be helpful. http://www.thebody.com/content/49985/just-diagnosed-with-hiv-aids.html?ic=3001 I left you my email & phone. Will be in your area next week. J
  3. You should try to take it within a couple (2) hours of the time. Atripla can make you a little "dizzy", that's why its suggested to take before BED. I took it for about 4 years, now on Complera. With any, if you "miss" dose by 12 hrs, you are supposed to skip it and take next scheduled dose.
  4. Very insightful and true, "Pop"... Whatever the motivation, a lot of "us" do start to take more care of ourselves and are more conscious of our behaviors. You have accepted yourself and allowing yourself to LOVE YOURSELF !! That's a real BIG milestone. I think its great that you got to this "place" so soon... It took some therapy and time for ME !! :-)
  5. You may have not "noticed" the initial outbreak, which can sometimes be minor...not unheard of to never have another outbreak, but you are still carrying the virus.
  6. There is NO CURE for Herpes, You always have it, like HIV ! Outbreaks can go away & medications will shorten the time. You will pass it on easily when you have an outbreak.
  7. Michael Lucas is a big proponent of PreP. I wouldn't be surprised if his new venture into BB porn isn't related to that.
  8. I take Complera and previously Atripla. GI/Digestive issues are common with all HIV/Antivirals. It shouldn't be an issue for more than a week or two. When I had similar issues, I began to take a daily probiotic (just generic Walgreens) and Metamucil (for fiber) at night. I have many friends who follow a similar regimen...
  9. I'm going to Whole Foods tomorrow & getting some !!!
  10. The reality is that it takes a little time. I think most guys go through that transition period, I know I did. Therapy helped me (it does with a lot of things)...Also support groups. I've heard that being diagnosed for some is like PTSD.... Don't let HIV define you anymore than being GAY does. That was an adjustment for some, when they admitted that. We can talk when i'm in town next month. :-)
  11. There is a GREAT Doc here in Lauderdale...does presentations on "Happy Heiny Health"....His practice is geared to HIV+ Gay Men... He's the man to see for this.
  12. Tiger, that's great info... I was on Atripla in 2008 until about 9 mos ago, now on Complera. Not due to any problem with resistance, or that... just to get rid of the sustiva component in Atripla. You are correct about all three having 2 ingredients in common.
  13. First off, great CD4 number. I know people on Strilbid. Also in my experiences working in the HIV prevention/education field I never heard any negative about Strilbid. I have many friends that are being switched to it. Its easy to take, doesn't matter time of day or food. Atripla you take at night because of the dizziness & Complera (I'm on this) needs to be taken with food. I'd go with Dr. Kocher's recommendation & always feel open enough to ask the same question to him... GOOD LUCK & see you soon
  14. I LOVE my hairy hole & most of my tops do also. I will trim and maybe shave just around the hole
  15. too many variables to give you an answer...IMHO, know your status, stay informed, take care of your health & make a rational decision for yourself.
  16. I read about it on Biaggi's Blog & didn't realize that it hadn't been covered here. Interesting to think of him getting bred by a 14 yo....
  17. Just back from a new FBs. I met him at the bathhouse last weekend, he works there...I do HIV outreach & testing there. Took a double load from him and still have it in me.... It's been awhile, feels good !
  18. You have to let the lad fuck and breed you as well... You are overdue to be the PIG you know you want to be.
  19. No you shouldn't be alarmed by that number. Mine was higher when I was diagnosed and I have been undetectable since 4 months on meds (Jan 2009)
  20. I have lately been attracted to a lot of bigger" guys, NOT FAT, but where I used to like younger "BOYS" I find myself seeking more mature muscle/stocky EN. BUT BlindRawFucker...I still love a smaller than me TOP, which is hard to find as I am 5"4' about 150lbs.
  21. I have been in a similar mindset lately...I feel much more in tune with myself...and find myself actually DATING !
