    While I won't argue the point that guys on the internet, or in general may lie regarding status, PReP etc... the scenario of a top becoming infect thru sloppy seconds is REALLY as close to impossible as can be.     There have been class action lawsuits against UnitedHealthCare and their forcing Mail Order on "customers". I know specifically in California. I know people who have brought this up, while talking to Customer Service and had some success.

    Question... Why 5 doses in 3 days?? I didn't think it called for taking 2 to start... that could be cause of the GI issues. Was at a PreP seminar Friday & heard that the GI side effects, mostly (90 something %) go away in 30 days. treat the symptoms...

    You CANNOT develop resistance in the absence of the Virus. That being said, unless HIV is undetected at the time PreP is prescribed, or due to compliance issues a person seroconverts resistance can't develop. If you are tested properly prior to beginning PreP, and take it reasonably properly... you won't develop resistance.
