I also began Atripla in late 2008. Had the same experiences as you, very compliant, not side effects good HIGH CD4, undetectable. I switched last year to COMPLERA. I (& my Dr) wanted to take the Sustiva (in Atripla) out. A lot of my peers are being switched to Stribild. When I made the changer, Complera was the "ONE".... I would only switch to a one pill a day regimen... Good Luck

You aren't going to have any fever's or flu like symptoms as PreP is "doing it's "job". I am no expert, but have researched PreP a little as an HIV counselor. I would do as directed and take it the full 4 weeks. on the other side, I would also follow instructions and take for at least 7 days before engaging in "risky" behaviors. -

YES ! Everyone feels that way. It sort of is the defining moment, when "it's all real"... This too shall PASS, my friend. Also look into Co-pay program from the drug company. you won't even have to pay the $40.00/month, at least for a year. I was on a Co-pay program for Atripla for like 3 years.
