I’ve gone to Providence twice intending to go to MegaPlex. Both times I walked away. There were two bathhouses in Providence and both of them look like they could be permanently closed down before you leave for the evening. On a blackout night you were spared seeing the interior. They look like shacks, I’m not expecting glossy signage but they are eyesores. And I’m glad you had one good fuck, but one only? On a Saturday?

Push it out is the wrong answer, that’s just ungrateful. Absorb is always the intent and each subsequent top who pushes it in deeper, especially if he’s thick and likely to cause tearing is suitably thanked before and after he adds his seed. i have never experienced it “leaking” out but since I’m a guy who prefers overnight sessions with as many bare tops as are interested at a bathhouse, I have often gone to breakfast the next morning or sneezed and suddenly am aware that six or seven loads have just been expelled into my pants. While part of me says I should get to a bathroom fast, another part of me hopes a gay man walking past will notice the big wet spot and approach me about it. I should travel with a buttplug to insure full benefits of gifts shared, but it’s easier to think about getting more to replace what gravity has stolen.

Steamworks, Chicago, Berkeley, Toronto. Who runs it? It is the only possibility for the future. Every other place across the country was busy in the 1970s and then milked like a cash cow and allowed to disintegrate over time. Every health crisis has taken a toll, AIDS, Covid, Monkey Pox, and gay owners, don’t reinvest or pass businesses onto another generation. New York City has only one left and it offers very little. Surely banks don’t endorse development. Gay money, it must exist, but it won’t come out of the closet. Steamworks Chicago was lavishly refurbished in 2004, maybe they have some answers on how to save these gay institutions.

I’ve since been to some of the once a month piss parties at the Park Slope Brooklyn location. I’ve found the crowd to be generally friendly and the experience good. And yes it is 5th Avenue and Union Street. I believe the other parties I asked about and saw on Twitter have evolved into BNWO events, but I’ve never been able to get far enough to learn where they are or when. If anyone has experienced them, please share. Telegram is used to provide info, there are a lot of rules and attitudes and then you hit a wall of demanding patronage—Money. I think the idea of white bottoms submitting to sex with a lot of black men should be enjoyable for everyone but I’m never sure how seriously the BNWO group takes its dominance. Their secrecy has shut me out of having anything more to relate.

I hope you’ll post what you find returning to NY for the first time since Covid. I think it’s entirely different, but I may be missing something. The ESC threatens to expel and ban boys who are partying. It’s no sex in public areas there and though the rest of the country may have relaxed a bit, in NY at the last bathhouse left in a city that was once full of gay men, the rules are just as tight as when Guilliani closed all the other clubs because of the AIDS virus. -

I have had several Saturdays overnight at ESC where nearly every room was taken, the doors were mostly closed and for 8 hours or more no activity was sensed. I think the monitors police much more tightly, especially on Saturday. You can never tell what the mood will be there. What I miss most of all is the openness that the WSC had. I could go there, lay on my stomach and have eight or nine black men top me in an 8 hour night. At the ESC, yes they’re willing to top me but they want to be paid, and that ends it right there. Kevin at WSC was great and supportive and fun. I get a sense at ESC that attendance is sometimes very slow and they don’t want the place to stay busy, it’s more work when it’s packed, and yet, it doesn’t become friendlier. -
