Which hotel did you stay in and were you successful in getting lots of loads? I'm thinking of going for King's Day in late April.

I'll be traveling through Connecticut next Thursday night and need some advice on where best to stay to take loads. I'm thinking either New Haven or Hartford but I'm torn. Yeah.... I checked for the same weekend and found the same rates. Crazy! The Days Inn Oakland Park was quite reasonable. It's close to Wilton Manors and I've always gotten a lot of loads when I've stayed there. Have never stayed at Inn Leather.

I feel I must follow up on this post.... in 2001 (five years after I fired my doctor) I got very sick and went to a new doctor at the urging of friends. It was determined that I had 33 T-cells. Has anyone tried the new SF Central Hotel (formerly Travelodge SF Central) at Market and Valencia lately? I thought it had closed as every time I searched for the Travelodge on Hotels.com and Wyndham's website it didn't show anything. I was happy to find that they are open and have reasonably priced rooms for Dore Alley and Folsom weekends. I have fond memories of taking loads during Folsom Weekends at the old Travelodge. I love totally anon scenes with the door unlocked and the lights off or me blindfolded and it was a great place for that as a crossroads between several neighborhoods.
