Probably it partly depends on the body shape but I believe if you experiment with this, you will find the proper position. For now, I can fist myself over my ankle. My favourite position is kneeling and being on my belly right leg pulled up. Interestingly I can fist myself only with my right hand. It’s good to know that after long self fist sessions I usually have muscle soreness in my arm and back.
