Was vaccinated with the second dose of Pfizer on Christmas Eve 2020 because im a healthcare worker that works on a medical respiratory ICU where almost all of the patients admitted to our unit are COVID+. You do not want to be intubated because youre unable to protect your airway, and even when you recover, desat just standing up out of bed to sit in a chair. Not at all a pleasant sight. I myself only had a slight reaction to the second dose; just some minor headaches and fatigue for two days is all. I am HIV+ and exposed to COVID+ patients every single day that are on airborne precautions and I still have not caught COVID. The vaccine works. Get it.

Having HIV may not be the death sentence it once was but it isn't to be taken lightly. You can become resistant even with medications. I have lost many friends that this happened to. Being HIV+ myself and having been undetectable since just a few months after my diagnosis due to ARV's, still get sick very frequently. Nothing fun about it, nor is there anything fun about being dependent on expensive medication to prolong your life. Furthermore, even being still an attractive twink-ish 30 something year old, it changes your life. I am transparent about my status, but that doesnt stop assholes from randomly messaging me behind a veil of anonymity to tell me that "they would love to have sex with me if not for the fact im HIV+". Nothing really feels more dehumanizing than this, and not in the erotic "degrade me like im a cock hungry slut bitch" kind of way. It really demotes you to the status of an untouchable even in this day and age. Stigma still exists, and I have even less fun than I did when I was negative because I am an open, honest person that will always disclose my status to my partners and I simply just dont care to deal with the rejection or the assholes that after telling them I am HIV+ undetectable still look at me as if I am some sort of plague rat. Keep it a fantasy. Be warned. Do not seek out conversion. It only has to happen once and then you too will experience this.

Ive had it twice. The first time I had it was "NGU" which is the pre-stage of chlamydia and I noticed something was wrong because it hurt to get fucked. The second time I had chlamydia it was virtually asymptomatic and routine tested is how I found out I had it. But I did notice that when the infection must have started that it felt like it hurt to take a shit. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the most excruciating pain ever, I would say it was about a 3. Just subtle. I attributed it to maybe being an internal hemorrhoid or something. Wasnt until a month or so later when I had a full panel exam that it dawned on me that it was probably the only symptom I had of chlamydia in my butt. -
