I still wince when I hear a guy being called a faggot - a carry over from when i was a kid in the last century - because it always implied that a faggot was "less than". A chat buddy who writes porn fiction explained it to me this way: a faggot is a submissive homosexual male who gets off on serving alpha men....they forego their own sexual pleasure in order to please those men.
