I agree with avoiding the negative. I believe in a calm, kind (sounds corny I know), and firm approach. It is being the better man and considerate of the other men who are behaving appropriately. I was playing with a guy who I had only known briefly boathouse when a third wanted to join and kept persisting despite our saying no. My playmate became visibly angry and told me he‘d deck the guy if he tried again. That disturbed me enough to go say a few words to the other dude who stayed away for the rest of the time.

100% agree on the communication. And in several of my long term relationships, we opened up for threesomes and small groups but always together. It was a huge turn on for me to see my partners playing with another and to see the pleasure in their faces. I’d want that again without a doubt. As for fucking around on the side, maybe I need to experience what it’s like to fuck say a bunch of different guys during the course of a day or night. Perhaps then they become just another dick or hole that provides physical satisfaction but no emotional attachment. But how to separate the two I.e. love from sex? I’m brand new to the scene, recently met a guy who I had mind blowing sex with and then started developing an emotional attraction. While we both met up through a hookup site and I knew he had had a lot of guys, what shocked me is learning how many guys he’d do in a single day or over a weekend. I wasn’t prepared to handle and lost my shit. He, undeservedly bore the brunt of my reaction and I buried my feelings for him and my sexual desire went the same way. How do I successfully decouple and compartmentalize emotion vs. sex? Be a sex-bot for meaningless hookups but come home to my partner and a warm loving relationship? Seems like living two separate lives. -

Exactly my sentiments. Recently a buddy implied that I might be lowering my standard on look/type for a better chance at getting laid. I guess I’d say I am decent looking with somewhat of a daddy/military look, get called handsome, but guys aren’t clamoring to get in bed with me. In told my buddy “no” and besides, the good looking guys on certain sites are far less responsive. What I didn’t say out loud is I find them all terribly narcissistic and mind-fuckers. In average joes/blue collar/blokey guys their walk/talk/energy/experience is sexy as hell. And the mental connections are easy and natural. The sex is waaay better: primal, piggy, sweaty, and vocal. I told my buddy “no” and besides, the good looking guys on certain sites are far less responsive. And I wholly agree there are a lot of narcissists out here. I go for the average joes, blue collar, blokes because the sex is waaaay better, more primal and piggy. Best man-sex for sure. And the mental connections are easy and natural.
