Which Sites that have disappeared do you miss most?

This site has the threads -- though sometimes I get lost on one before commenting on the other. BNSkin was good for both hooking-up and GREAT for Topic Discussions. Some were thought provoking while others may just be looking for immediate action. I don't know what happened to it -- guess would be expenses since Alan offered so MUCH at absolutely NO COST -- FREE Memberships and the Main Photo of a guy's profile was 3/4 of the page.

There were other sites besides bug-share, I joined bareback.com years ago and it was active then. It had guys looking for guys all the time, though some were the site operators attempt to draw a business, it gave depth and character to guys as well as their likes and dislikes. ManAttack still around? Hell I seldom spend time on Manhunt any more, but do find some action on Adam4Adam -- though was always more action in the bigger cities. I RESIDE at BBRT.

Though the ABSOLUTE BEST was Bareback City with Kenny and Steve. They also ran the LA SEX HOUSE until too much publicity forced their Landlord to kick them out. Did two DVD's of "LA Sex House" and Monthly parties ... which are quite active in NYC and LA. BBRT had a party in Palm Springs (Had my advatair in the window, Room 5) at Helious. and One at the BLUE MOON in Las Vegas a few years ago. BBCITY was the INSTANT -- "HOOK-UP NOW" was created and born.

Does anyone remember a site called something like Extreme Sex? I forget the exact name, but it was one of the first bareback / bug chasing hookup sites I saw. They had icons for your HIV status and the HIV status you were looking to hookup with. I was expecting a lot of sero-sorting but was shocked by all the neg guys looking to hookup with poz guys and all the poz guys looking to hookup with neg.

a couple of years ago there where a main site kinda like geocities that popped up where tons of guys had created underground sites - usually within a week or so they would get shut down for "questionable" content - but the material was often very good and rare... I cant remember the name of the main site but I think it was the predecessor to the one that host latheofhell now... I think the stragedy they used to get rid of all the underground sites was to start charging for space...

I too miss BN and BS - although BS was pretty much absent of any moderation and sometimes the trolls were relentless...

Not to date myself, but I did really well with IRC and AOL in the early and mid-90s. These sites were where the barebacking and giving/chasing communities first came together.

Before the Internet, these were topics you simply our not discuss. Even in the porn theaters and bath houses, you mentioned HIV in any manner, people scurried away.

Don't get me wrong, people still fucked raw, but it was a much darker and clandestine thing. The loads were a lot more toxic in general and society a lot less understanding. But that was also a big part of the excitement. Barebacking was dirty, dangerous, and hidden.
