If that's true, and I have no reason to doubt it, the reason is probably because guys figure that "the worst possible" has already happened, they're still alive via the state of  "medical arts and sciences", and there's simply no reason not to take every load, rut in every Hole anymore.  That may or may not be phallacious*, it may be foolish, it may be this or it may be that.  But what it also may be is enabling.
