Yes, there is a chance. Not having a guy cum in you lessens the chance, but as HIV is present in pre-cum, there is still a risk.

As the previous poster suggests, familiarise yourself with what is safer (ie getting fucked by a an undetectable poz guy vs a guy whose last test was negative), as well as PrEP.

I'd add here that a poz guy with an undetectable viral load is probably a safer bet of you don't want to get pozzed than a guy who tested negative even within the past few months: you don't know what he's been up to since and he could have picked up HIV since his last test. Around where I live guys seem to think that testing once every year or two is enough, which it isn't. The only sexually active non-monogamous people who can be sure of their HIV status are people who've got it.

As a general rule if someone has a viral load of 1,000+, they're infectious. The European PARTNER study, looking at HIV transmission between couples where one is poz, the other neg, defines "undetectable" as below 200 (clinic vary between 20 and 70), and the only seroconversions they've seen on that study are where the neg partner has played away from home.

Thanks guys for immediate answers, I'm really happy to find support , unfortunately in my country Egypt , prep isn't available , I m traveling to Paris next week , I wanna join bareback orgies badly, I think it is hard to ask about status in sauna or sex club. Still don't know what to do.

In the type of situation you are describing (a bareback orgy), guys will lie.

They will tell you they are negative even if they are poz.

They will tell you they will not cum inside you even though they plan to.

If PrEP isn't an option (and I understand why it isn't), then you have to either not get fucked bare or accept some risk.

Another strategy, albeit not ideal, would be to enjoy a few bareback orgies in Paris and immediately avail yourself of PEP.

Post-Exposure Prophylaxis is a 30-day course of a full HIV drug regimen, and is effective in preventing infection if started within 72 hours of exposure. It is an international standard in emergency room medicine, although if you were relying on it you'd want to verify availability at a specific French hospital, coverage/payment terms, and the risk that your medication would be seized by customs when you returned home.

Unlike PrEP (as currently approved in the US and pending approval in some other countries), PEP entails a choice of HIV drugs. To avoid resistance issues, US guidelines recommend choosing the drugs based on the regimen of the positive sex partner, if known, but that obviously wouldn't be possible with multiple, anonymous partners.

I thought I'd post this publicly, for the benefit of other readers.

PEP, called Traitement post-exposition or TPE in French, is widely available in France. The French standard is 4 to 48 hours after exposure, and non-occupational exposures are acceptable. During business hours, some clinics offer TPE; otherwise, any hospital emergency room does.

The protocol in France is an evaluation, a 2-to-3-day prescription, another evaluation, and then a 28-day prescription.

By law there is no cost to French and EU citizens, but you would have to inquire about the cost to foreign visitors, which could be substantial and might or might not be reimbursed by your regular or travel-related health insurance plan.

Here are some articles, which you can translate via Google Translate (I speak French and would be happy to resolve any ambiguities):

Thank you, fskn, for mentioning the smaller window in France: although in the UK we use the 72 hour limit for PEP, there is evidence that the efficacy of PEP falls quite dramatically after 48 hours. If you need PEP, get it as soon as possible, even if it means an expensive taxi across town in the middle of the night: the sooner the better...

Thank you, bearbandit! I too was familiar with the 72-hour guideline, which is observed in the US. I'm glad I had an occasion to look up a different country's rules. And bravo to France for having an excellent PEP regulation! The country implemented PEP for non-occupational exposures a long time ago, and removed any uncertainty about payment (for its own citizens, at least).

I figure if I am going to let a guy put his bare cock in me, then I am going to let him and want him to cum in me. That`s just the way I feel it should be. Going on PReP is an option. But I feel we need to let go and do what really feels good and take a chance now and then. I`m just starting my gay sex life and I know it will always be bareback for me and cum in me. I am not going on Prep or anything either. To be totally truth I would rather not know their status either. Breed me and see what might happen!!!

Thanks " rockhard801" I think we should be open to poz cum from time to time. Just gives it more excitement really!!

Once a guy has his dick in my ass I expect him to cum in me. I actually prefer a guy poz on meds. I don't like a guy who says he is neg but never been tested.
