There’s now conclusive evidence that the shooter wasn’t intending to target LGBTQ people at all.

In fact, he allegedly had no idea Pulse was a gay club, and simply Googled “Orlando nightclubs” after finding that security at his original target, a major shopping and entertainment complex, was too high, as reported by ClickOrlando.com.

The shooter didn’t target LGBTQ people — he didn’t even realize Pulse was a gay-oriented nightclub, asking a security guard at the club where all the women were just before he started shooting.

After a mass shooting, observers, including journalists, often search for a motive, sometimes even before the first victims have been identified. But the Pulse shooting proves that initial narratives about mass shooters’ motivations are often wrong — and those narratives can be far more powerful than the truth.

I believe that is disinformation, and he DID target Gays. The Security Guard did not notice his rifle and ten mags?

Islam is a totalitarian system of government, hell bent on overthrowing the US Government, not a religion and thus is NOT protected by the US Constitution.

As i see it, the religion issue is not Islam, Christianity, Judaism, or any number of religions, but the approach people take to those religions. i grew up in a Christian religious culture that was fundamentalist in approach,  and i've come to see fundamentalism as problematic in any religion. Frankly, i see it as a problem in any system of belief. i've met atheists who have fundamentalist attitudes.

To me it all boils down to having an absolutist attitude about any 'ism,' and thus having the inability to say or act from a position of questioning.  Talk to anyone with this attitude and ask them: "yes, i see what you believe, is there any possibility that you could be wrong?" If the response you get is "no," then you've likely got a fundamentalist on your hands.  When people start equating their beliefs and conclusions with "God,"  they themselves run into a problem with questioning those beliefs because they equate that with questioning "God."  There is a disconnect and they do not distinguish that their conclusion is their own vs some higher truth. If they did, they'd prolly hit the pause button before blowing their self up in a building full of infidels.

The guys that flew airplanes into buildings were not just Islamic, they were fundamentalist Islam. Islam has been around since the 7th century. That makes it about 1300 years old. Check out the violence factor of Christianity in its earlier years. Heck, i can remember American Christian lawmakers that wanted to make being gay a crime... i would not put that past our current vice president.  Judaism also has a violent history.

Then there's fun stuff like this: Roeder told the jury he was born again in 1992 after watching an evangelical TV show, the 700 Club. "That day I knelt down and I did accept Christ as my saviour," he said. Under cross-examination, Roeder said he had begun thinking about killing Tiller [an abortion doctor] from as early as 1993.

I know lots of people from all three religions that would never do the rotten, violent stuff like the Nazis did. I also know of people from all three who i wouldn't be surprised if they did, given the power.  i think it's scary to have anyone like Trump in the White House or a position of power.

There was a significant gay vote for Trump in 2016. Not everyone is dumb. But if you can still vote for the Pro-islam "Democrats" after the Orlando massacre then hell yeah you are dumb as FUCK.

Hopefully the 2016 gay vote for trump will be repeated or even increased, next year.

Those of us who realise the incredibly obvious and alarming truth about Islam - we are still the persecuted minority. We are silenced and called racists by our retarded fellow gays, and by the mainstream fuckwit media. It's terrifying and horrible.

People aren't "asleep" they are misled by the media who somehow kid themselves and others into thinking it's clever to suck up to Islam, when it's not. All that really REALLY needs to stop before one day we wake up to like, stonings in our streets and shit.

Oh and speaking of sleeping, has anyone heard Pete fucking Buttegieg speak? Jesus fucking christ.

Congrats on having the courage to speak your mind, especially since your point of view is probably not very popular on this site or in the gay community.  Democrats pretend to care about minorities and groups of people that have historically been mistreated by the majority.  Yet they do very little to advance their cause until it becomes politically popular (gay marriage support anyone?).  Both Clinton and Obama were against gay marriage when in office, Trump is actually the first person ever elected president to support it from the day he announced his candidacy.

In order to maintain control, Democrats need to keep people feeling like they are suffering, so there is no advantage to helping them succeed.  Black, Hispanic, and other minority unemployment is at the lowest levels ever.  If Trump hated all of them, why would he empower them to succeed then?  Why would he call to "eradicate HIV in 10 years" if he hated the two groups most effected by it?  Why would he then increase the budget spending to do it as well?

Probably the most intelligent thing I've ever read about those who follow religion (and those who don't).

If this is true, how does it GENERALLY disprove the idea that Muslims are anti-gay? There's a reason why it seemed such a pretty good assumption at the time. For gods sake. You didnt exactly see many Muslims at the time trying to counter the assumption by saying "we Muslims wouldn't do something like that". Because a lot of them do approve of gays being slaughtered.

This always happens in internet arguments with "liberals". They think a tiny nitpick or one example being disproved, somehow changes the entire world view, it fucking doesn't.

I thought talking about it on this forum might be slightly different, because it's mostly populated by gay men who actually have sex. Most of the "libbies" I argue with on twitter, or the youtube comments, or other places, are either perma-virgin str8 nerds, or gay guys who never get laid. And neither of them have spent any significant time physically interacting with real life Muslims, lol.

Pete Buttegieg is absolutely horrendous. It doesn't seem immediately obvious that a dweeby, verbose little college boy like him who's been mayor of nowhere can really challenge Trump, but then in 2007 none of us thought Obama would win....

It seems to me he's someone who only impresses young dreamy SJW "progressives" and he doesnt even really have a chance of winning the Dem nomination, I hope im right but last time i hated a Dem's personal style so much he ended up winning two terms and letting millions of hostile "refugees" in.

Both sides are headed exactly the same direction. I never bought a MAGA hat but I really believed the hype that he was a genius businessman.

Trump done tipped his hand with this shit in Venezuela.

Doing further research, he was mentored in ethics by Roy Cohn, was given projects by the Rothschilds/Rockefeller Cartel that would keep his name in the public consciousness then baled him out.

A true billionaire selects only projects that make money and keeps their name AWAY  from the public consciousness.

His speeches were direct translations of Hitler speeches: tell the audience they are special (American exceptionalism) scapegoat a poweless group (Mexican landscapers and roofers) and  lie about withdrawing troops from “useless wars”.

Those “useless wars” are all about installing Rothschilds Banks into countries that refuse their Payday Loan schemes. You notice they continue.

He even lied about the Second Amendment, supporting Red Flag laws to “take the guns first”.

Their next step will be to declare the Border undefendable, “but it’s not my fault I really tried to build the Wall” and offer a Microchip Implant as “proof of citizenship”. Jared Kushner and Lucent Technologies are making them right now. Of course under the table, MS-13 will also be given them so they can keep dealing the CIA’s drugs. Only the roofers, landscapers and lettuce pickers will be excluded, so they will remain as the new slaves, one step above prison labor which will do stuff even Mexicans won’t do.

The whole “opposition” is pure theatre, none of the previous traitors have been or will be arrested. Patriots will be arrested once their value to the theatre is used up.

It matters not if he wins in 2020 or there is a backlash to the Left, and another Rothschilds creation, the smiling skateboarder Beto wins. The ratchet tightens.

I’m writing in Harambe.

Now we definitely are trying too hard to be "edgy".

Buttigieg is an even weirder name than "Barack Obama" was supposed to be. President Buttwhateverthefuck. Seriously just no.

Anyway he looks more like he wants to be the first mormon fucking president with his white shirt and "personality".

I plan to write in Harambe on my 2020 Presidential ballot. Harambe was the gorilla that was shot. Beto is the current jackal being sold to us as our next President. I do not want Beto to be President but also refuse to share the Karma for whatever Donald Trump’s handlers instruct him to do next.

I'm just flabbergasted how so many people are comfortable with fascism and whatnot in the USA. Thoughts insights, disagreements. Have at it.

Watching from the outside in it is pretty disconcerting.   The rise of the fascist left/ liberals is insane.  Riots and bashing's from inauguration day,  to attacks on people wearing hats that someone is "offended" by today.   And in between we have had Russia Russia Russia as the excuse for the "antifascists" to shut down streets, universities, public places, hound and harass people at their own homes and in public,   Now the head of the DOJ is deemed a conspiracy on his own.   The "antifacist" liberals, media and and people like cow farts cortez are modern day "brown shirts" with the ever growing and financed antifa enforcing their rhetoric with violence.

Yes the great fear, the One World Government, has seemed to morph into the One World Corporation, on the Disney World model. There they have two main classes, 10% guests and 90% workers. There is a certain equality among the workers: Nobody  gets enough to become a Guest. Everything is owned and maintained by private companies paying rent to the Mouse. Main Street USA perpetrates the fantasy with a parade every day. No cars. Certainly no guns. All food is packaged, all media propaganda.

Oddly, some current Governments actually protect their people from these corporations. They do not let Hell Oil  pump what is actually  YOUR  oil from under your feet and sell it. They pay the sugar cane choppers a fair percentage, it is not done by an “illegal” underclass.  They do not have an unpayable debt to the Loan Sharks. They actually look out for their citizens.
