Since there are several confirmed cases of guys becoming HIV positive while on prep, who took their pills as directed, why not remain on prep and look for full blown guys or guys not on meds and keep the thrill of the risk that way.    Just a thought!

That's my philosophy too. The chances are incredibly small -- like winning the Powerball. But it's fun to buy a ticket and imagine you could be the one!

I stopped Prep... and although currently still neg, I can tell you I enjoy bb sex with men SO MUCH MORE. If you are truly chasing, you know what to do.

In the end it's a mind game. Being on Prep is personal choice but then why bb when you can get other bugs that prep does not cover.

Chasing poz loads is a outcome of bb and enjoyment of feeling all lustful feelings of mans need to have his brothers seed mixing.

Bareback and enjoy ass and cock and dame all others .

I have hear of this same thing happening many times. A guy starts taking prep is ok for a while then miss`s the thrill and wants to stop. I feel it is best to never start taking prep. Get out there and bare that ass bend over and just enjoy the pumping!!!!

So if you are going to stop; stop. Don't skip doses and help the chances of developing resistance to PrEP for those who want it. Once you are poz you are poz and the thrill is gone. Then the monotony of being forced to take more tests, more pills, more paperwork, stigma in smaller communities, blah, blah.

It has its perks. It has it drawbacks.

Maybe talk to a counselor first to make sure it isn't depression, a big life change or something else causing you to make this very serious decision.

Once you are sure your choice is solid knock yourself out.

FYI... You cant develop resistance to PrEP.  I order to develop resistance the infective agent needs to be present, so NO HIV = No possible resistance when skipping doses or stopping and beginning again

You CAN develop resistance to Truvada as a poz person, and that's the issue. If you skip too many doses of Prep you can get infected without knowing it. Then if you keep taking the pills you can develop resistance, because Truvada alone is not enough to treat an active HIV infection.

So either take it properly and stay neg, or stop taking it entirely and take your chances. This skipping doses shit is not doing you or anyone else a favor.

Absolutely true 6811283...this is what the Infectious Disease doc told me before he approved my PrEP prescription. I also read this in the pharmacological info. ;)

He wants to stop PreP, and I want to start it! I finally got up the nerve to make an appointment with someone who is listed as prescribing it.  When they called me back to set it earlier this week, the first opening they had was in June!  I told them never mind.  I guess I will try a couple of other docs.  I've met a black dude with a magnificent cock.  He's only fucked me once, with a condom.  He's married to a woman and swears he is safe, but of course that means nothing.  If I see him again I know I'm not going to be able to resist if he tries it bareback, which I know he will.

So time is of the essence.

Poz up. Prep is evil

How?

If you have a poz fetish that's great.  I respect that in you.  Not everyone wants it.  Does that make them evil? I don't get it.

I said "when the infective agent (HIV) isn't present... If you get infected... that's a different story
