Yes, i thought the site was going to be spared, but some have been deleted indeed. I hope no more is gonna disappear

For any site that takes credit cards for processing of *anything* - memberships, merchandise, whatever - expect that this purge will hit sooner rather than later, because merchant processing is the squeeze point.

Or rather, its the card companies themselves (ie VISA, Mastercard, American Express, etc.) rather than the merchant processors like Stripe, Square, etc. The card company sets the rule as to what kind of purchases can be made with their card, and the processors are required to adhere to those rules, at the risk of losing the ability to process cards at all for failure to comply.

A completely free-to-the-browser site might escape for a good while, but very few of them can support themselves just with ads.

I've been wondering for a while what exactly the story was so I appreciate the information.  Can't say I'm not bummed though, get so tired of the class getting punished for the actions of a few.  Xtube was by far my favorite site for gay porn, there were just some hot fucking vids, and lots of partiers,  you got to see each other's hottest fucks and cheer each other on.  I loved knowing people were getting off to watching me take dick.  I loved the comments and the chat as people found each other's videos.  I could tell a top to just go check me out.  I live in a rural, conservative, sex desert and it was nice having a community to escape too.  I got ideas for things I wanted to try, have done to me, it opened my eyes, kept me sane.  Let's all be honest here, it was a hell of a lot less dangerous to society than most social media, its algorithms, and the misinformation its disseminated.   There were better more targeted ways to deal with the legitimate concerns but let's face it this was about monetization and little else, making us all pay for what we used to get for free, what we did for eachother.

Just to be clear: none of that stuff was actually "free" or "what we did for each other"; someone had to pay the thousands of dollars a month for high-speed connections, servers, and so forth. You might not have paid for a membership but someone - lots of someones - had to fork out the money to keep it going. Those someones included the people who DID pay for memberships, as well as the advertisers who funded the sites.

Let's not kid ourselves into believing that before "big bidness" got involved, xtube and the like were hippie communes of sharing funded out of the goodness of all the participants' hearts. They were always businesses; the business model just changed, because it had to.

Resurrecting this thread b/c I just found one of my old Xtube vids ... fraudently altered!

I voluntarily took down vids to error on privacy -- like if the vid wasn't clearly me even though it was -- and Xtube took down the rest, or so I had thought.  One vid has reappeared but as flagged / reported.  The report note says:

"[...] In 2007 I was 16. [...]"

WTF?!  I only _wish_ that I was 16 in 2007.  My buddy was in this vid too but in his 40s and that's obvious from the vid.

This is flat out lying.  Someone fraudently claimed to be me or him -- the "I" in that note -- and is lying about our ages.  There is one explanation: to get an underrage porn accusation.

This is disturbing.  It's altering facts to bend reality into the agenda of these anti-porn fanatics.  Did underrage porn happen here?  No.  Do these fanatics listen to Kellyanne Conway's "alternative facts".  Yes, they protested locally with their "Save the Children" posters.

Local law enforcement is too technology niave to know the mechanisms for how this kind of fraudulent note could have been created and be covered up.  It would be my word vs Xtube's.  Locally, law enforcement is all over throwing people with porn into jail.  Distrubing and sad that porn went down this way.

Oh how I despise choreographed, studio porn. I’m visualizing a lot of “model types” having robotic sex lacking any sort of chemistry on these paid sites.

You put it so much better than me. In fairness, it's probably a bit difficult to work up much chemistry if you're having sex in those circumstances - even before we get on to the question of whether they look creepily similar to you or have the compulsory stubble/beard.  I sometimes think I have no imagination.  Studio porn is a great reminder that there are people out there with even less.

First the Tube networks, and now the Fans sites.  OnlyFans seems to have been the latest target of Visa & MasterCard--given they announced their decision to ban sexually explicit content at the request of their "banking partners."  I wonder when Just For Fans will fall victim--at this point, it seems to be not if, but when....

On the flip side: good studio porn (and yes, it's not abundant) makes you feel like you're invisible, watching the sex going on, because the performers focus on each other. Far too much amateur porn is filled with self-conscious people who look over at the camera(s) every ten seconds. I don't WANT to feel like the participants are watching me watch them. I want them focused on each other, making the sex hot, not constantly seeking validation from the camera.

It means free jerking off and fantasy material is gone. One has to pay for pign and these paid memberships are a fortune. Better to go back to CDs and DVD from local adult stores at least they have dark rooms as a tip.

You can see that how you want, I also like it this way as described above, it's just more cool.

You’re talking about JFF/OF style “amateur” porn. XTube was more about sharing a glimpse of hot times with like minded people. In that sense bad lighting/camera angles/shaky cam or even people intentionally showing off never bothered me as long as the essence of the moment was there.

For me what a lot of studio porn lacks is verbals especially in BB stuff. It has moments but can get repetitive and I get the feeling they’re some times told to hold back, things are purposefully cut, or that they should stay away from certain topics, etc.

I would have expected that early BB porn when fucking raw was still a fantasy/t@boo for many people to really drive home the type of sex they were marketing.  However there’s a serious drought of RAW/Bareback fuck talk across the board. Back in the day I was always guaranteed to find a handful of vids on XTube where they’d really get in to it.

Not to mention the lack of true breeding in studio porn. If you’re fucking raw pulling out should be the exception not the rule.
