@Thoron yes! That's exactly it. I almost always buy the launch size of the new product. You would've thought I'd learned my lesson with the Deep Space 130. I still haven't worked up to that one yet and I've had it now I think going on 5 years. Please don't take my slut card away! But then I have to buy the next size or 2 down as they're released and work my way back up.

But as for the MareMaker, they almost immediately released the smaller version, it's usually 6 months to a year later, so maybe there was some grumbling, or maybe the timing just worked out that way. Anyway, I struggled a couple of times with it and was afraid of tearing because of this exact sensation you're describing. So I've been focusing on sizing up the Grips to get the hole more open so I can get the dang thing in.

I don't think tops will mind my hole getting more and more open through this process. We'll see.

@wh0rehole - your responses here are a masterclass and I love it.   EVERYTHING you have said is right - you may able to take a big plug during fuck sessions, but keeping one in takes practice.  Plus the right lube (which you call out) because you don't wanna dry out.

The only thing I'd add is that plugs have different bases, some more square, some more rectangular that fit between your cheeks.  I think those are better because you're less likely to sit on it in a strange way.  

Also, if you try it for the first time, make sure you have an exit strategy - where you can go if you need to take it out and something extra on hand to change in to if things get funky.

I'm trying my first buttplug with harness in a couple of days.  Always been in control of it myself, we'll see how this goes! 🙂

I'm finally learning a low effort routine to keep 8cm plugs in and repeating few times a week. Still not longer than an hour, but less discomfort and no longer burning sensations. Crisco+J-lube is king. The pic is a day after solo play in September. I'm finally seeing a beginning of a sloppy cunt. Nonetheless more stretching is more.
