The first thing to know about piercings anywhere on your body: There is no gaurantee that the experience will be the same in any way (pain experienced, healing, and whether or not it migrates). Your entire experience is also not in the hands of the piercer and your anatomy, either. You must follow the healing instructions carefully. If you do, things should go relatively smooth.

Getting the Piercing
• The piercer will need to take a look at your junk to see what will anatomically fit you, but also if there are any other spots that might require some special consideration to have the piercing done safely.
• The piercing will be done such that the jewelry will actually not be directly in line with your dick. Rather, it will lean to one side or the other, and the needle will be inserterd from below from slightly to the left or right side. The procedure is not (supposed to be) performed by inserting the needle from directly below. 
• You might feel a pinch when the needle is first inserted into your dick. Thankfully, this piercing's technique forces it to take a short path through the tip of your dick by design, and enters the end of your urethtra (as described above) and then quickly exits out the normal opening. The piercer will have the jewelry ready to follow the end of the needle in, and should quickly be able to set the jewerly and done.

Aftercare and Healing
• Follow the aftercare instructions the piercer gives you very closely.
• Be prepared to have extra absotbent material to line your underwear.. this might bleed off and on for a few days.
• Do not play with it. I know its impossible to not have your dick do something, like get boners in your sleep, etc, but you will risk either prolonging the healing time, getting an infection and having to take it out and start over, or causing the jewelry to migrate in such a way that the piercing no longer looks aesthetically pleasing.
• It may take 4 to 8 weeks to heal. Aftercare will influence that.

Living with a PA

I’ve had 5 piercings my whole life and my PA was least painful and easiest. They pierce a small sheet of skin so it feels like a pinch more than anything. The pain really comes from the healing. Only speaking to my experience but I was well gaped at the time and wanted to feel how it was to have a large gauge in me.  We were careful and the top took his time in order for us to both enjoy it  and make sure no damage was done to either one of us… needless to say, we were completely sober and tuned into what was happening and took it slow. I want to give an update.

Since getting my PA installed, I have lost nearly all sensitivity in my dick. It is not "more intense" orgasming, and it's not "two points of sensation" for me. It hurts. You'll be able to get to a 4g. Just get used to the 6g first and let your cock adapt. I went from an 8g to a 4g in 4 months (but everyone adapts differently to their PA, so I'm more of an exception than the norm).
