There is an underlying thesis to this thread, which is that the preponderance of men (possibly some women too), have an inborn need to spread their dna. Since the institution of marriage is legally-sanctioned, that is the easiest "outlet" for men who need (as in, must have) plenty of sex. And, since the preponderance of men are hets, marriage works out well for the majority. So, why would married guys cheat? Because all men - whether straight or gay - horndog or meek & mild - are determined to keep their balls drained, or merely accepting whatever chance they may have to fuck. The reason men cheat is simple: the urge, necessity, requirement to spread their sperm to as many holes (either male or female), is far stronger than almost all other innate urges. Add to that, the absolute delight bottoms take in servicing cocks makes the "gay" choice all the more acceptable. As the old saying goes; "Any port in a storm". Religious/cultural pressures are a far larger (but not concrete) problem for most men; remove said pressures, and I think most men would gladly become far less "focused" on fucking women, in favor of just fucking whoever happened to be taking loads at the moment.
