What do you do to ensure that there are gonna be tops? Do you use sniffies and set an event? Use Grindr also or is there some other app and group people use these days?

I went on NKP and looked at guys and sent them messages of what, where, when. I sent it to about 15 guys. All tops. The ones that responded back I sent them my phone number and told them I would text the room once I got it. About 5 showed up. One of the was the guy that eventually administered my first slam. You have the advantage that you are fairly young and many guys, even bottoms, like breeding a young hole.
