Meaning of wearing just a jock or assless underwear at fuck club/bathhouse/orgy

I've always had the idea that wearing assless attire at a bathhouse or orgy was generally a good indicator that a guy was hoping to get fucked, I don't necessarily associate it with being a total bottom, and at least for guys who wear jocks tend to be pretty versatile pigs in those situations. Other forms of assless underwear does tend to indicate the wearer is mostly bottom, but I have found plenty of exceptions even to that.

My issue is with local guys who bring an assortment of underwear to the bathhouse, and make circuits around the club in every pair. At least a handful of them have told me they had never heard of the association to assess attire and wanting to get fucked.

They bring a bag of underwear, some of it assless some of it that covers their ass. They change every 5 to 10 minutes then make another circuit around the club, but usually scrupulously avoid the play areas on their circuits. One of the will occasionally let guys grope his package and even let me suck him briefly a couple of times when we were the only guys in the club, but is a committed total side like most bathhouse goers here.

I have purchased, worn and lost so many jockstraps over the years I have lost count.  I never thought much about it, I have worn them under my clothes if I were going to an organized sex party at a hotel or private residence.  It usually was just something to have on under my pants, that would come off easily.  I started out wearing the basic white jock strap you wore in high school. It wasn't until I found out about a company called "Freshpair" that had all types of jocks that I really became addicted to wearing them. I bought so many, that I would leave them in their individual packets and give some away to tricks that came to my house.  If they liked jocks, normally I had one in the drawer that I hadn't worn and was glad to give it to them (another result of doing too much t, but that's another story).

As far as bathhouses, no I never wore one. I like to walk up and down the hall way and make sure my ass is showing, but I still have the towel on in case management has an issue.

I didn't vote because I wore them seriously as a form of underwear, not just "looking to get fucked".  If I showed up at a hotel party or house, people pretty much knew that getting fucked was something I had in mind.  It was the reason I was invited and the reason I showed up so.....
