After a day of cruising, it was not unusual for me to have difficulty remembering how many guys that day, let alone how many over a lifetime. But honestly, it's never been about the numbers for me. It was about the craving for connection in that magical way with another guy. The bonding of mutual desire and a very intimate level. i cannot think of any other experience where two people can touch each and have a soul exchange with an otherwise stranger, in a relatively short time. The saying: "make love, not war," comes to mind. Imagine if mankind spent its hormonal energy fucking instead of killing and destroying what a different world this would be? The act crosses so many boundaries. Definitely better and more effective than a handshake. Quote
